Re: What did you last make??

I made a batch of spätzle yesterday - which was a first for me as I've only had it once before - something like 15 years ago. My wife and I went to a German restaurant not far from our place Saturday night, and the food was so good, but we had leftovers. A LOT of meat, but not much of the spätzle, s...

Let's get freaky!!!!!!!!!

The newest sexual assault story has Senator Al Franken (D) of Minnesota/ Saturday Night fame as the main protagonist allegedly assaulting a former Palmate model about a decade ago. Wiping the mental image of Franken doing anything even remotely considered "sexual" given his strange SNL characters, w...

Re: Plague Comparable to Black Death - SE Africa, Madagascar & SW Indian Ocean Islands!

Docs are are being stricken down now kbot and one could hope UNMC saves everyone afflicted one day. But their brave help and expertise is here and not yet over there. Safer-self thinking may rule their judgement about going over there until the ww airborne SHTF arrives here. Unfortunately, w...

Re: Plague Comparable to Black Death - SE Africa, Madagascar & SW Indian Ocean Islands!

Thanks for moving this topic kbot. I was counting on you do to your work place being a New England hospital. What's interesting MK is that the place to go for Ebola is my old employer UNMC in Omaha (who knew, right?): UNMC/Nebraska Medicine to be national Ebola center The University of Nebraska Med...

Re: Are Honey Nut Cheerios Healthy?

Well, yeah, that's the obvious answer. Why voters don't vote out those in Congress who approve various pesticides' use is what baffles me...... Should've been more direct on that.

Re: Plague Comparable to Black Death - SE Africa, Madagascar & SW Indian Ocean Islands!

We were talking about this at work yesterday. A few years ago, we (hospitals) had t develop policies on how to treat Ebola patients. This potentially will be far worse, given the miracles of air travel.

I avoid pretty much every thing but for the Ritz crackers , l love Ritz Crackers. I also suffer some of the health hazards of direct use of glyphosate doing landscape maintenance for many years, but don't think that if you are citydwelers you have escaped, something keeps the weeds from growing in ...

Re: AAA Sponsored Autonomous Bus In Minor Wreck 2 Hours After Start!

The guys on Red Eye Radio were talking about autonomous vehicles last night - I didn't catch much, but what they said got me thinking. In their view, we will start seeing some new rules concerning driving, such as by a certain date, private ownership of all transportation will be outlawed. To get th...

Re: "Hacks" The Book By Donna Brazile

In light of last night's election returns, it will be interesting to see how the DNC moves forward. Will the organization try to distance itself from HRC? Will HRC try to dig-in her claws even deeper?

Validation for the Bernie supporters.

What's sad though is that I'm hearing that what HRC and the DNC is not illegal, which seems strange........

I haven't had the opportunity to look much at the issue of witches and physical issues which may give them abilities far in advance of others, although it's certainly an interesting possibility. On the other side, I had read number of years back, an analysis of the Salem witch trials where the accus...
