I believe you're thinking of Bugs. (Wikipedia): "Bugs" – An aging farmer who has repeatedly told of his account of shooting and burying two Bigfoot creatures back in the 1970s in the Texas Panhandle, initially thinking they were bears. Bugs has mailed a map of the location of this "bu...

On a somewhat related note. Video killed the Radio Star. http://www.usatoday.com/money/economy/2011-07-19-postmaster--mail-delivery_n.htm Postmaster says days are numbered for Saturday mail delivery Falling mail volume and soaring red ink may soon doom Saturday mail delivery and prompt three-day-a-w...

I had seen this coming for months, and was very concerned. I hope that once the mourning is over, you will see this as a new chapter in your life. With apologies for the unfortunate pun. There are many times when I can't understand what is happening to the world. There are other times, when I unders...

Guys, the part I edited out was my outrage at the comments toward the FF2. A Forum started with the most noble of intentions, by Pirates who stood by this Ship long after YOU departed. In many cases, of yer own volition. Yes, I said it. If there is a way that we could merge, I would so love that. Up...

Agree that anyone who wasn't *inviited* to the FF2 SHOULD NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY. They did the best they could with what they had.

Glad to see this place taking off also!

Man. I am so out of the loop of what is going on here my head is spinning. What I can say, is that my initial thought before even reading the posts was: “I think Kaz misunderstood. They’re flying the flag at half mast.” Now I see Kaz twigged to that as well. It’s already been said by Pirates far gre...

I'm one of the 2.3 people that has no idea what's going on here, but let me issue a fair warning. If anyone hurts SETIsLady, Revisedcode, the memory of Linnea or the Fantastic Forum, you will have the wrath of holy hell on your hands.

Ask, believe, receive. We'll be okay.

A.A.A.D.D.

Thought it might be time we could use a bit of a chuckle. Hope this helps. Recently I was diagnosed with Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder (A.A.A.D.D.) This is how it manifests itself: I decide to water the garden. As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over to the car and decide it ne...

For eight years, she was Linn-ee-ah to me. Listening to George's tribute, presumably after speaking with Revisedcode, he pronounced Linn-ay-a. I'm thinking for that my own private self, I will always keep it as Linn-ee-ah. A little joke between she and I. It was a beautiful tribute, George. Thank you.
