New Years Eve Money

Old, I'm reminding you again to be sure to put out some money on New Years Eve. Hide it someplace outside the door you usually use. I usually put out a five-dollar bill. Then on New Years Day, be the first person out and back with the money. Bringing it in should bring you more during the year. I di...

Old,

I hadn't read your jokes for awhile, but checked them out today when I saw your topic was active.

Thanks for posting and bringing us some laughs. I particularly liked the one about the little old lady and the war protester.

I am rather amused that Keith feels we have been mean and belittling of him. He must have forgotten the times he treated us that way. I started posting on the Art Bell site in 1998. When Keith suddenly shut down the message board, I emailed him and asked if he was going to keep the Guest List up bec...

I bought a BayGen radio in May 1999. A woman in town had all of the survival stuff Art advertised (She's a Mormon.), but I bought the radio only. $99. Am usually prepared with candles, batteries, etc as live in the country where we have power outages in the winter. Had filled the car with gas and go...

I was upset by the comment on a recent post that "...over-simplification is the first step to stupidity." Megman has a long history of helping folks on this board and others with computer problems. He will tell you what you can understand without being condescending or making cracks about ...

Jenny, The out of breath caller from Area 51 was on the night of 11 September, 1997, I believe. It was the first night I heard Art's program. I was visiting in Tucson and tuned in program in the middle of the call. Remember that the station went off the air during the call. Don't remember the dates ...

Amanda,

Why don't you call or write KNYE and see if the pages could be delivered there? If they saw your name on the package and were expecting it, it would be accepted I think. I gather it is a small operation and Ramona may open the mail.

I just checked this book on Amazon and there is a review by a reader at last. He is more
concerned with the fact that the author was a reporter for TIME than in the subject matter. He gave it four out of five stars.

My understanding is that the author's ex-wife married a lawyer and may still be alive living in NYC. Will be hearing from her? And if so, can we believe it? Put yourself in her position. Would you say anything at this late date? Once I was going to write about my cheating ex-husband and name names, ...

CK, I've only called a talk show a couple of times. Once the screener cut me off and I'm not sure why. I think one of the problems in calling in is that you are all excited about talking, are put on hold and then suddenly you're on the air with the host and sometimes don't react fast enough. They al...

A friend and I were talking last night about the state of things in the Mid-East. Both of us had thought sometime we would visit the Holy Land and also go to Egypt to see the pyramids. We waited too long and now the trip is impossible. It is too dangerous to go either place as American citizens even...

9er, I am a very average listener. When I heard Father Malachi say that he saw "perfectly possessed people" walking the streets in NYC, I believe he meant just that. I don't see any other or hidden meaning to it. Some people give off very bad vibrations and I'm sure he picked that up. Inte...

Gwen, I read Kathleen's article before I posted my message. Meant to say that. I would never buy any of her books. I wonder how the book about Father Malachi will be received? I doubt if will picked up by the national media as there are few who are interested in him. It will probably be lost in the ...

What is wrong with people these days? No one seems to have a sense of humor any more. Of course anything posted on or around April Fools Day is suspect. Don't people know that? Or don't they take the time to think, but just jump to conclusions. I remember Keith's jokes from previous years. Didn't se...

A person on another board said that finally Kathleen Keating has made a comment about this charge. She says none of it is true and then asks you to buy her new book. Don't you think that is rather tacky?
