Re: A Heads-Up On Those Bloody 504 Errors

Actually, there isn't much of a learning curve anymore. Unless you use specialized software, or have an obscure piece of hardware, distros like Mint kinda just work. In fact, they are designed with MS Windows migrants in mind. Hardly even need to use the command line anymore. On another note, isn't ...

Re: A Heads-Up On Those Bloody 504 Errors

Hiya Riddick ~ What's to miss? Eight arms and a couple of tentacles? I had to get out, man. Couldn't take it anymore. Been holed up in this inky little hooch of mine for awhile. I've all but unplugged. In fact, for the first time since 2007 or so, I have no websites published to the web. Dark city, ...

.

Earthist... keep us in the loop, ok? You are a great friend to me, and you will be missed on the FF.

or, more appropriately, explore in peace.

Re: Wikileaks

Podesta emails? How convenient for conservatives. Not long ago... Bill O'Reilly, Mitch McConell, Newt Gingrich, Bob Beckel outraged over wikileaks and Julian Assange. O'Reilly: I'd like to see a little drone hit Julian Assange. I think he is a bad man. If he lived in Britain 007 would take care of h...

All we need to know about the government we tacitly approve of: They have beam splitters integrated at the peering points. Re: More Cartgraphic Mayhem

Since these things are all about ratings now, expect a "plot twist" type finish, which will keep viewers hanging on until the end. I wonder what commercial spots are going to sell for during "election coverage" as the "race heats up", or as Trump pulls more "unexpe...

Re: Drugs versus Alcohol

Maybe we've been the proverbial frog in the pot. The heat has been slowly turned up to the boiling point. In this case, rule of law was slowly dispensed with over time. We can look back and see that in the 1920s our "leaders" were willing to follow a set of rules, and therefore took the ti...

Drugs versus Alcohol

Why did we need a constitutional amendment to outlaw alcohol, but we did not need one to outlaw drugs?

Anyone know?

When an officer says "Put your hands up," then put your hands up! [hypothetical] Police: "Sir, exit your home & get in the armored transport. You are being evacuated to a location within the perimeter of "the green zone" outside of town. It's for your own safety. We hav...

. Buried Headline: "as documented in my forthcoming book " What? VOguy... am I understanding correctly? Where can I pre-purchase? Can we get a chapter as a preview? I think the reason Art Bell originally appealed to me is because he would, from time to time, discuss conspiracies. Those wer...

How about going one better, we just let corporations run the country? I mean, they're people aren't they? Let 'em run for elected office. Forget political parties! Big business organizations are the future. Want the real thing? Go to the polls and select Coca-Cola This will actually happen. I am no...

. Not victims, co-conspirators. Not "republican" only, but both parties & both ideological camps. Unfortunately, I can not explain anything to you. However, I have taken the time, for years, to write my thoughts down here. Look for the trunk full of scrimshaw scribblings down in the ho...
