I'm bored too and when I'm bored I think up questions, so...

Okay... When other people see a color, are they seeing it the same way I'd see it like if we could switch eyes? Do dogs like the taste of their food as much as I like my Cheerios? I mean, if we both ate half of the same ribeye steak, I know the steak would taste much better to me than if we both ate...

Should she? Or...

Should we be asking accusers, What are you trying to do in making this statement?

Somebody's got an ax to grind. I don't want to grind that ax.

Sourdough

Finally made some decent sourdough using bread flour and more kneading at the beginning.

The directions in our sourdough book weren't as good as what I already knew. :)

How it turned out

I kept talking and we worked it out. Who he thought was the bad guys by virtue of their religious identification, I thought was too sweeping.

I concluded that I have a responsibility to talk about my ideas and ideals effectively, not to stir up emotions.

How to talk politics

This is not an advice posting. This is a discussion of political correspondence on comment places like that of Big Hollywood. I'm getting in trouble because I'm not sufficiently negative about a political idea. I'm in a flame war with a fellow of my same "side" because I didn't say I hate every sing...

Oh yeah, Popey Man?

I'm not an atheist but I'm not blinded by the Light. I wasn't born a sinner and I don't need salvation. I believe if a Believer tells a damned lie, and an atheist tells the Truth, then the laws of nature will serve and the liar will get weaker, the Truth teller will grow stronger. Let's all speak as...

Goodbye Ray

I've loved and hated and loved The Doors over the years. He had a good life.

Owwwww!

I'm battling shoulder pain right now so I know how it is. Hope you have a lot of patience and understanding. You'll get better when your body's ready, so give it a lot of time, and... cuss a lot--it releases pressure that would otherwise build up and do a little extra emotional damage. This is a kno...

takes a long time?

Okay must be patient.

But if we keep adding a cup of flour it's going to be too-a-much-a.

So I think some of it needs to be thrown out or used. What you save gets stronger and stronger, I suppose.

sourdough

We got it from Ed Wood's International up in Idaho. It came as a powder, with instructions. We are adding flour and water every day. It's smelling and looking like I suppose it should, but it's taking a long time.

Sourdough?

We're just trying sourdough at our house now.

Trying to get the starter to develop.

Maybe somebody here could be my sourdough buddy. We haven't baked any bread with it yet.

Did we lose him? As a popper-back-in I remember him a lot.
