But I guess that's what we're talking about in a "two-state" solution anyway, so....

... So, the hatred and killing just keep going on. Day after year, one generation to the next. On and on.
I hope the peace talks go well and some good comes out of it. But I'm not counting on it.

This sounds like a heavy metal album. Anyway, I hope you're wrong. :D I'm old enough to remember how decades ago people spoke of the future in frightened tones referencing the Book of Revelation, and it's amazing how much of that has come to pass. Hmmm... Now that you mentioned it, yes. Black Sabba...

It was a joke, bro. I hoped it was. ;) Anyway, since I'm here I'll give my no-so-humble opinion on peace in the Middle East; After the Nuclear fires of Armageddon have stopped smoldering, and the radioactive fall-out has settled back to the ground (and Mistress Death has stopped laughing), then ......

There was just an outbreak of Hasidim running wild in their bekishe and rekels, blowing people away with shotguns in the name of moral equivalency..."Mazeltov!" they were heard to exclaim... Okay. I don't understand. Please explain it so that even a 48 year old southern white man (that would be me)...

Saturday morning and my four days off begins. I plan on doing nothing today but sleep and relax. Tomorrow I'll probably go watch the local Amptguard kids beat each other with bopper swords. Might even pick up a sword myself and show the "younguns" how its supposed to be done ... or they'll show me h...

You've got good karma, Jon. :) Turns sword thrusts into mere pin pricks. How was the move? Are you renting a house/apt? Moving households always fascinates me. Don't mean to pry. and etc... I love the new place. It's a 3 bedroom mobile home, built in 1993. But it looks brand new. Renting it for $55...

Were you flippin' someone the bird? ;) Well, hope you are okay - and pass your probation otherwise. Bummer. No, but I'm flipping the bird at everyone now. :D Really, M'Lady, I'm fine. Although it is my first ( and I hope last) known broken bone. No bummer. I talked to the warden yesterday. He said ...

Hiya Pirates. First the good news; Sunday starts my last week of on the job training, and all is going well ... job-wise. It seems I've also acquired the nickname "Supercop" from the inmates. Well ... it's better than the names I had in the academy; "Rooster" and "Peacock". I have way of walking tha...

Sorry, Lady SETI, for the long absence. I graduated on schedule and have been doing OJT the past week. Things are going very well, except we have no internet at the new home yet. Won't have it until after the 1st. I'm on my daughters 'puter at the moment. KISS was always one of my favorite bands. Th...

Saharaka, If it isn't too much trouble, I'd like to meet a fellow pirate before we make the move out to the sticks on Tuesday. If you have the time this weekend, would you care to meet somewhere? Say at an IHOP or somewhere like that, maybe? Two weeks to go. Today's test score ; 92%. Not great but n...

Well, I guess you fine folks have been keeping up on me. The Academy takes up all my weekday time and there's no wi-fi around Texas prisons, and no internet connections nearby I can access. When the weekends come I'm pretty busy getting ready to move out of the big city to the big empty. So I don't ...
