Rhetoric is all over the place - across many segments of the political spectrum. A rational discourse would be one - such as Ezra Klein's. He really does not need to address the lunatic fringes. In fact, it is much better that he not do so.

HB - another larger aspect of this is Title X - Women's health care. That is a much larger issue than a very small percentage of abortions which are not actually funded by 'the budget'.

The talk regarding percentages is primarily fueled by this aspect.

The component of this you are focusing on is settled law - Roe v Wade.....

So, this 'morality' position is not defensible except as a personal/religious point of view. It is not a social ethos in the larger sense.

It actually does matter if an expenditure is 90% or 9% - when you are dealing with 'facts' and 'budgets'.

If one grows accustomed to dealing with 'facts' within a distorting miasma of ideology - you've got huge problems.

Okay. I spent 20 minutes trying to find that "quote" by Ezra Klein - and I'm pissed off. I knew that statement would not have been issued by Ezra Klein. No where is that statement found except on knee jerk, conservative (?) websites and/or spokespeople. Very unethical and time wasting, HB.
