We just saw this tonight at 7:40 PM. It was large, green, with a 'tail', and was heading for the ground. It looked like it got brighter after passing out of sight over the mountains. That is to say there was a sort of flash. No news of aircraft down. But I was the passenger in the vehicle. I was looking out the window where it appeared. And that's just it. It just appeared, like fireworks when they ignite. But this was much bigger. My husband saw it too. It is the first UFO I have seen. I don't know if it was a meteor...or just what it was. But no way was it a falling star. This was very large, and looked like it was heading for the ground

My son saw something similar to this over Mt Baldy in So. Calif. He said he saw a large blue light preceding 2 smaller red orbs.

I wonder if the same thing that you saw Tanya was what was reported at the begining of the Coast to Coast show with Art with people seeing a light flashing across the sky over Western Oregon.

I would say that is a pretty safe bet. I read the article on his site as well the next morning. It sounds like the same thing. And the timing is right. You figure I saw it at about 7:40 pm, posted as soon as we got home at about 8:30, then hear it on coast to coast at 10:00...I don't see how it couldn't be.

It sure was the most unusual thing I had ever seen in the night sky.
