I am surprised as I thought mayby Art was a Bush supporter. His look here, sums up just about how I was feeling last night at the same time. I am a Canadian who has done some travelling abroad and have been mistaken as being an American as our accents are similar. As a result, I experienced a bit of hostility.

I worry for all Americans travelling. Bush has now been given a clear mandate 'by the people'. The belief was that 2000 was rigged. I fear the attitude around the world will become even more angry to Americans as a result of this election.

Umm not really Linnea, That's what I got from the image with a hint of disapointment.
This was last night dureing the election count maybe he's thinking "oh No, here we go again".
But thats just speculation.

I have the same expression on my toothless face ... it seems that my monthly (pre-paid 12 month subscription) connection for fix and repair suddenly told me that I'd exceeded my pre-paid annual usage online by over $9,000 so I uninstalled it. Mind you
I never used the dial up connection phone numbers but it somehow knew where to find me on my ISP server.

I know I can out snarl that face above.

Perhaps BPL has something to do with it, coincident with this week? Broadband over Power Lines is set to severely mess up if not totally ruin his hobby and passion...as he said over the last few weeks, it has been passed and is a done deal, we can only hope that it is rejected here as it has been overseas after a period of time. This effects each and every one of us.

The consequences of BPL are quite far reaching, penetrating not just Ham radio, CB radio, emergency communications and most importantly effectively squashing the freedom (Right) to information from around the world while placing all emergency communications into what I call a "reservation band". Nothing has been said..but it would be logical to expect that "they" will reconfigure emergency communications into a special area/band the same way the Native Americans were herded onto reservations. Oh yeah...then there is that nasty little concept of "civil defense" that is stomped out too...destroy the ability for people to communicate and you remove the basis of organization. Scary to say the least.

My opinion is that Art wishes us to reflect and be aware of all this and not forget, as well as perhaps send a subtle but clearly distinguishable message to those responsible for this catastrophe. You might say he knows how to effectively "ring" the Bell in this photo...visually speaking...this is how Art appears when silenced as well...the "Art of non-verbal communication" I would call this photo.

I think now may be a good time to bring back artbell.com. He could get these issues out to the public.
Not only that I think it would be kind of cool to see all the other stuff he might put on it.

Tell me about it, thats why I'm out of work this week. Standing in line to vote was very uncomfortable and every left step was pure hell.
I can sympothize. I threw mine out simply by putting a potted plant on the floor last friday. Bend with the knees not the back stupy. But when your feeling good you don't think about those things.

Ok I listened to LBC talk last night. First as a nation Britain is in shock and dismay regards Bush being re elected.

The main points where.

1: Bill Clinton was impeached for a silly lie regards his sexual habits. Bush lies to the nation and sends them to war on a lie and his re elected. This is very hard for the British people to get there heads around.

2: The Hispanic in Florida where given citizenship if they where they illegally. For which they where asked and promised to vote for Bush. It looks like that worked very will indeed for Bush.

3: And most importantly, the BIN LADEN tape being sent just days before voting began is seen here as a white house stunt. Britain says sending the tape out just days before the votes, but the fear of god into the American people and that alone brought out people in record numbers to vote Bush back in.

All in all the next 4 years is going to be far more dangerous than the last 4.

4: The American people are now (as far as Britain people are concerned) held responsible for the actions of Bush as you overwhelming voted him back in. I remember 1 guy that phoned in last night, saying “if an American stops me on the street for help. I will ask if they voted for Bush. If they say they did they will get no help from me. (This is usually Americans asking for directions)

And lastly we know only too well that this election effect all of us in Britain not just America. And that is why must British people are in deep shock. Yes there are those that support Bush but thank God they are far and few between.


I thank you kindly Pirates for your comments in this thread, and others, it’s good to know that some of you Americans are in the same camp as the British people.


This is the last from me on this subject as its time to move on (some how) and to dwell on this travesty is not good for my sanity
