Kowloon Walled City was a political no-man's land within the British controlled colony of Hong Kong. It was subject to zero regulation, zero law enforcement, & was essentially a truly free market. Would you rather have lived in Hong Kong proper, or lived and done business within the walled city?
What went wrong/right there? Is this "free market capitalism"?
