Very Sad News about Devastated

This last one was taken at the pub where we went for brunch. This pub has the best brunch (award-winning) in town, so when we all got hungry in the late morning, we headed down there--not to drink, I should note, but to share great food and great conversation with a great friend.

I hope that in sharing these with you all that my gesture will help someone somewhere in dealing with their sorrow at the passing of someone so dear to us. It has helped me to do this for you all, and for Sareda. At the very least, you will know that I meant what I said about her smile brightening the whole room.

I did not know of her only thru her posts. That being said I enjoyed her insighfullness.

Dev was one of a kind. I remember most the discussions about Mexico and living there - and the picture on the hillside.

She will be missed.

Thank you Joolz for those memories...I think one of those pic's were of the three of you laughing and joking around visiting us in the ORR...oh what fun that was that night.

I posted in the thread for Dev...about my thoughts one morning of Sareda as I was sending her some healing light. From My post in 2005:

Sareda, I was lying in bed this morning half awake thinking of you and our candles to light your way.

I decided to get up and open my sliding glass door blinds. As I did this I was still thinking of lighting your way to good health.

I then saw the sun was lighting the way on the path out my door. I had never seen the sun do this in the morning before. I got my camera and took this picture and then the light disappeared behind a cloud. It was there just long enough for me to see and take this picture. (No more than 60 seconds.) The timing was not to be denied.

It was as if it was telling me, yes the way is being lit for her, do keep up what you and others are doing. So be it. Love K.
