This brought something to mind....When the USS Merrimac was burnt to the waterline and assumed a loss, some rather enterprising individuals saw her value. She was resurrected as the CSS Virginia and as such had a reputation as a holy terror!

The ship and crew will need to be in lockdown survival condition if Patrick Geryl and Cliff High are to be believed....

Crustal displacement (Hapgood) - and Mega-tidal waves (Greig Hazard Research Centre) Solar outflows etc....

Now how many days was it left.... 1,000 and, well what ever.... will the ship be refitted or scuttled..... 2012 straight ahead........
