Black Tassel (Brenda) Hospitalized
Black Tassel, our friend from Canada and one of our original FF Pirates, has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack last Thursday.
Her son tells us that she should be out of ICU by tonight.
My husband and I didn't even know she was ill until her son read her email and contacted us.
We hope that all FF Pirates will send her Love and Healing Light.
Brenda (Black Tassel) is a spirited soul and generous friend to those who know her.

Sending healing prayers and Light to you Brenda. For a speedy and full recovery.
Here's a pic of Brenda/Black Tassel from a few years back.

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to give you an update on Black Tassel:
She was able to take a stroll on Friday. The nurses are all impressed with her determination and positive outlook. Very good news!
A few folks have talked to her on the phone and said that she sounds good. She also had a bleeding ulcer! The night her son drove her to the hospital, she had lost close to 4 quarts of blood!!!!!! Yikes.
She may not need a bypass and may be home by next week. The ulcer may have caused some of the problems, but that's just my speculation.
