Joolz...your nickname for her reminds me of one we had for my little guy. When he was a wee pup he would bark when playing with us and poke at us with his little paws, so we called him Mr. Barkley Paws. My other little guy is nicknamed King Of The Couch.

Mr. Barkley Paws! That's so cute! What kind of doggie is your little guy?

What a treasure! You guys are sooo lucky! I've forgotton how much fun a puppy can be!
Thanks. Yeah, I had forgotten, too. I'd also forgotten how much WORK they are! LOL So had Corvid. He was trying to talk me into getting TWO puppies at the same time! Thank goodness I nixed that idea! LOL whew He now agrees that I was right. One Border Collie is almost more than 3 adults can handle (my daughter lives upstairs and is helping with her, too). heh
The one of her under the sofa is priceless. I've been sitting here going "Awww" and Taarna came running over to me, like she KNEW I was looking at a new puppy!
Awww... That's so sweet. They KNOW...
You must update the pics every few weeks, so we can watch her grow up!
I'll try to do that. I know I'll be taking lots of pix, so might as well share them.
Now, when she learns to TIE Corvids shoe laces, you're in trouble!
Ha! If only she had thumbs...

Thanks, Linda! Yeah, she plays "Queen of the Mountain" on the sofa. She climbs all over it. Cracks me up!
I figure she won't be able to get under the couch in another week or two, but right now, she feels safe and sn6u+333 (<---cat on my lap wanted to type that, but he can't spell very well - correction: snuggly) under there.

Thanks, Linnea! Today we bought everything we need to fence off the pool and veggie garden area so she can't get in there. I've spent the afternoon raking and using the shop vac to get up all the sticks and leaves and old pecan shells dropped by the squirrels and birds that she wants to eat. In a couple of days, she should be able to run free off her leash in the back yard. whew Lots of work, but nothing we hadn't already planned to do anyhow.

Joolz - What a joy -- miss having a dog -- oh well someday...

Cats keeping us quite occupied! (Along with crazy weather) Thunder boomers sent Buttons into hiding...worried Cindy (gray cat) who had to check under the couch to see where Buttons was located.
Outside cats stayed in the kitty hotel most of the day - raining out they don't like to get wet either!
