I also do not post much anymore, but always read the forum. I have been a member for a very long time, and always feel at home here. I just wanted to belatedly say how much I have missed and will miss Joe Quinn's posts. He was truly unique, and every post was interesting.

I was telling someone else, just a day or so ago, how much I miss Joe's diatribes. He was entertaining, unrepentant, and well-informed. Even when we didn't totally agree with his positions, we couldn't help but admire his fervor. How I wish there were an IBM Selectric Typewriter on the Other Side; I'm sure he'd wear out the rotating ball in just a couple of sessions.
