It is too bad Joe is no longer on this planet - thank you for posting the comments as I had forgotten that go round back then to remove him (Rush).

Gosh the girls do get upset - I mean this guy really gets under their skin - well actually he gets under a lot of folks skin.

It is curious to me that the folks on the left who preach again - tolerance and compassion - they have no problem referring to him as a pig or a fat pig and on and on. I understand not agreeing with someone and then arguing that point but can you imagine calling some female talk show host a fat pig - can you just imagine what that would bring out of the woodwork.

I know I know - I am a cavewoman at heart.

Joe Quinn on GLOBALISM
Links back to the original post follow each quote in brackets

On preparing for a move to a global society:

Psychicwolf: Is this planet EVER going to prepare for moving to a global society? I have my doubts.

joequinn: I am every bit as globalist in orientation as you are, PsychicWolf, bit what is going to protect the 95% of the planet from the psychopathic/sociopathic top 5%? and even if such protections come into place, how long can we expect that they will retain their force? [*]

On the Cold War and global Cryptocracy:

I have believed for quite a number of years now that most of the red-under-your-bed Cold War was actually a carefully managed scenario by the American and the Soviet branches of the global Cryptocracy to use fear of the other side to intensify its despotic control over its own people and that, in point of fact, the two sides actually worked seamlessly with one another all along. [*]

On the USA's relation to global corporatism:

the entire government has become a fascist appendage to the global corporate state [*]

In actual fact, the global corporations are buying up the entire planet, preparing the world for a millennium of neo-medieval corporate feudalism. [*]

On the undermining of America's territorial integrity, geopolitics, & the idea of a potential New World Counter-Order:

Through their free trade policy, through their immigration policy, and through those highly mysterious discussions among the United States, Canada and Mexico, [the fascists] have actually undermined the territorial integrity of the United States, undermined the very foundation upon which a valid criticism of Chavez’s remarks at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church and at Cooper Union rests!

And maybe, in our progressive attempt to roll back their New World Order, we will find ourselves --- if successful --- with an equally strong New World Counter-Order. Chavez’s remarks at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church and at Cooper Union may not --- may no longer --- represent an unwarranted intrusion of the affairs of the United States like that of Citizen Genet in the early 1790s.

On the contrary, it may represent one of the earliest public manifestations of the geopolitical fact that, there is no longer a domestic, that there is no longer a foreign, and that global life-style tribes, not nation-states are the fundamental realities of 21st century political life. [*]

On global socialist revolution:

The only solution to the present crisis is a global socialist revolution. But even I know that this ain't gonna happen! So, we must resign ourselves to the extermination of up to five billion people over the next forty years. And if you can think of a third outcome here, I would be most desirous to hear it. Most desirous... [*]

On the global ruling class:

When are we going to realize is that the global ruling class does not want to get rid of the problems of the people, because it wants to get rid of the people themselves? When? [*]

The structure of the New World Order dedicated to the service of the tiny, oh-so-tiny global ruling class demands the liquidation of the Amerikan middle class as a prerequisite for its establishment. [*]

This reality is so patently clear to me. Yet the middle-class not only refuses to see this, but basically identifies with its ruling-class masters, who are now devoted to its destruction.

The bottom line is that the American Experience of the past four hundred years has bred --- genetically bred --- for aggressive entrepreneurial hyperindividualism. This breeding worked just fine up to the 1945, but once the ‘Merikan Empire really got going in the wake of World War II, this collective genetic predisposition could be used --- and was used --- to set the proles against one another while the cool-headed global ruling class seized their few remaining assets.

And sixty years of relative prosperity --- relative, never absolute --- have dumbed down the population intellectually and disintegrated its moral sense. Now we have an disorganized, demoralized rabble who realizes that it is no longer needed for anything and who is willing to do anything to anyone in order to party just a little while longer. [*]

The New World Order needs a small ruling class of the super-class and then a billion or two desperately poor people who will do anything that their masters bid in order to stay alive just one more day.

There is no need, no need whatsoever, for a middle class, and things are at a state where the global ruling class openly can move to eliminate it. [*]

All of this was carefully planned. The Amerikan middle class is unnecessary in the global economy of the New World Order, and its destruction is priority #1 by both of the Amerikan political parties. And nothing, I fear, can stop the destruction at this point. [*]

On Amerika, the 2008 Presidential Election, and Global Demons:

I told you people last fall that the fix was in and that both Obama and Hillary Clinton were frontmen for different factions of the New World Order. Of course, things would not have been any better if Clinton had won. As I told you, again and again, there are no second acts in Amerikan lives, and 9-11 was the point at which Amerika finally tipped over into the abyss... [*]

Amerika is OVAH, folks, OVAH, and Obama’s election is but one more staggering step toward the grave, as the global demons close in on us all. And there it stands… [*]

Great post Riddick - the format, which you have repeated a few times in this thread is outstanding. Maybe we should encourage others to adopt it here?

One small observation - for the sake of accuracy, I should point out that the above quoted are my words. Their inclusion here is a great honor, indeed, maybe a bit too great! :)

WHOOPSIE!

I'd been doing keyword searches on Joe's username, but somehow in paging through results I completely missed out on the actual author of the nontheless excellent quote there in that particular thread...

Turns out there IS still a very good quote from Joe IN that same thread, so I've gone and put it in my post in place of yours (now folded-in under the heading "On the USA's relation to global corporatism")

Sure! And I would add that if folks have a hard time getting started, insofar as present day goings-on ARE reflective of the ongoing human condition, just look at current FF thread topics and discussions and then start looking through the archives for applicable posts & quotes in answer to the question "What would Joe Quinn say?"

Hey Now, Diogenes, believe it or not you've given me another idea for a submission here --

Say you've been right where you've always been, while it's the world around you that's changed?

So much as that feeling isn't all too uncommon, what say we all...

Get "LOST" with JOE QUINN

Oh, the world that we have lost! <SIGH> [*]

The police know that things are so grim economically at this point and that people have so totally lost whatever self-control they may have possessed a generation or two ago that even so innocuous a thing as a pillow fight (or a brawl at a Little League game or a fender bender on the local highway) could trigger a mass insurrection.
...
There is an old proverb: "in prison the most anxious man is the warden." The militarized cops who are charged with the task of maintaining law-n-order (i.e. servicing the profit, the power and even the pleasure of our totally degenerate ruling class) are terrified that something is going to snap --- real big and real soon! And since they are specialists in crowd control behavior, their apprehensions are not to be dismissed.

At least not by me... [*]

I have been saying --- for years now --- that the game is over, that the Amerikan Empire is finished, and that the best we can hope for is a quick and merciful death to the entire farce.

Under Obama, however, the death will be anything but quick and merciful. The debased, degenerate and doomed Amerikan populace will be screaming, pissing, s***ting and vomiting all over the hospital bed as the tube-fed drugs desperately try to keep its lost soul alive as the demons close in to seize his soul.

There are no second acts in Amerikan lives, as F. Scott Fitzgerald (who certainly would have been at home in the Age of Dubya) has told us; the wages of sin is death, as that textbook of Judaeo-Christian mythology tells us; and the bright day being done, we are for the dark, as the Bard of Avon has told us. [*]

The Fantastic Forum came into existence in the spring of 2000. I remember this clearly because I was present at its creation, when we --- like the fallen angels in Paradise Lost --- were all cast out of The Coast-to-Coast website as part of Prem Rad’s first reorganization effort. The Fantastic Forum has remained in existence for nine years, a remarkably long span of time as far as electronic fora are concerned, and while its existence has caused me immense pain at times, it has also helped me to grow as a mind and as a spirit.

But the Internet has changed massively over the past nine years, and the demographic of The Fantastic Forum has changed with it. As late as the spring of 2000, the Internet was still a cutting-edge technology controlled by an intellectual elite. Now, however, it has become every bit as much a part of mass culture as any other communication medium in our society: the rise of mindless fascism and mindless fundamentalism here at The Fantastic Forum since about 2004 is proof-positive of it.
...
So what am I leading up to here? (You know I am always leading up to something.)... Electronic fora are just like everything else in this world. “To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” The world that we have known for the past sixty-four years is clearly passing away now, and who knows?, perhaps the world that we have known for the past four hundred years is passing away with it. Let The Fantastic Forum go too as part of that Great Dying. It is time. [*]

I lost my box of matches a quarter of a century ago, so what good is this candle in my hand, huh? Far better that I should curse the darkness with gusto, so if you will pardon me... [*]

BTW folks, you may've picked up on it but my immediately preceding post was my sly way of providing an example of what I was talking about back in post #21 - 'Course, YMMV - as it is, in my searches I've been lucky enough to have come by a goodly number of Joe quotes that relate to the topics I selected.

In any case, it's just one way to come up with and present Joe's musings so feel free to do your own thing - !

Riddick,

When I said lost I meant relative to Squids comments about a new format for posting - I mean I just got the ytags down.

Still I like the Lost with Joe Quinn - I do find his posts intriguing and thought provoking.

Was anyone on the forum a personal friend of his?

And yes I do feel the world has changed and I'm sort of right where I've always been except with an IPhone:D

Oh -- sorry Diogenes. By 'format', I was referring to Riddicks nifty style in this thread. For instance...

... here we have a very clear and precise topic, followed by the relevant JQ quote, and in brackets the original source thread for context and expanded reading.

I found it easy to read and understand. But it was just a casual suggestion, most any posting style is sure to work.

Nobody is going to mess with your [/yt] tags! :D

On the Fourth of July:

Oh, Linnea, you don’t know the tenth of it! The secret history of the Republican Party between 1854 (when it was founded in all its greatness in Ripon WI) and 1865 (when it became the nail-studded club that Jay Gould, Jim Fiske and the other f’ing capitalist pigs used to rape the nation for the first time) has never --- I repeat, never --- been told.

As early as 1857, the f’ing capitalist pigs on Wall Street --- who engineered the Panic of 1857 to capitalize on the end of the Crimean War in Europe --- were starting to infiltrate the Republican Party. And they thought that they had their man in that “African ape” who was serving as a lawyer for the railroads in Illinois. They smirked at the ape’s debates in 1858 with Stephen A. Douglas (who was not as bad a man as the politically correct textbooks tell us that he was, who suffered the agonies of hell before he died in 1862 when he realized how he had been used by filth, and who devoted the last efforts of his life to serving the ape in every single way that he could). And they thought that the fix was in, for the first time in ‘Merikan history, when they got the ape into the White House.

Our politically correct textbooks tell us that the Civil War Democrats were cowards and traitors. Maybe they were, and maybe they weren’t. But they were frigid observers of the way in the f’ing capitalist pigs were taking over the Government while the ape was working day and night to save the Western Hemisphere (yeah, you got it right, the entire Western Hemisphere) from total disintegration. But by 1864 the ape was starting to get wise to what was going on behind his back and in his name, and he became the deadest of meat in that year when he vetoed the Ward-Davis Act, which would raped the South in a way that George Dubya Bush would have praised! And John Wilkes Booth was not the only person in the reviewing stand on Inauguration Day 1865 who wished the ape dead when he opened his yap and spoke of government “with malice towards none, and with charity towards all.” Well, we heard no more of that commie, pinko, faggot crap six weeks later, did we?

A drunken tailor now sat in the Oval Office, but unfortunately for the f’ing capitalist pigs, he was not so drunk that he forget what the ape had told him to do if he was ever assassinated. So “other” methods had to be used to deal with the situation, and they almost succeeded. The poor f’ing capitalist pigs had to wait until March of 1869 to get their paws on the levers of Government, but by the fall of 1869 --- less than six months later! --- they had raped the Amerikan people senseless. And a helluva good time was had by all --- with the exception of the most unpleasant surprise of Teddy Roosevelt --- for the next half century. Until a Democrat egghead from Princeton became President in 1913. Who caused more problems. Problems, of course, that were dealt with, with our own beloved J. Edgar Hoover making his first contribution to our country in the process. But that’s another story…

Gawd, I love ‘Merikan History. Don’t you? And the only scholar in Dubya's 'Merika who has the balls to see things straight is that Pulitzer-Prize-winning commie, pinko faggot Gore Vidal, "mad, bad and dangerous to know." But then he learned half of it when he was just a little boy who used to guide his blind grandfather, Senator Gore of Oklahoma, around the Capitol during the late 1920s and used to listen to the liquored-up, paid-and-bought-for whores snicker and smirk about the secret history of our nation, confident that the kid would not understand a bit of what they said. But he did understand. And he did remember. And he did tell... [*]

More on the Fourth of July:

I sat down tonight to watch the Independence Day celebrations in Washington, DC, but I switched them off as soon as the red-white-n-blue broads clambered onstage to shake their mammaries like there was no tomorrow (i.e. about 30 seconds after the show started)!

I tuned back in the last five minutes to see the fireworks. I swear to Gawd, at least Caesar gave the subhuman proletarian trash bread and circuses. The fireworks this year in Washington were absolutely pathetic! [*]

Still more on the Fourth of July:

I myself am freaking out, big-time... I just saw a couple of choruses of the Blood Spattered Banner drag Liza Minnelli back from the land of the dead to sing New York, New York. And the Statue of Liberty just stood there and said nothing!

Then I tuned on the Boston Pops special, and this long-haired freak who, I swear, is going to suffer a drug overdose on stage is screaming in falsetto at the top of his lungs "maybe tomorrow the Good Lord will take you away!" While Dr. Phil applauds wildly...

So, in utter desperation, I turned on to the celebration at Ford's Theater, the hallowed place where the greatest human being of the 19th century was murdered. And then the doors opened and Caligula and his wife walked down the aisle to take their seats! I expected the entire place to burst into flames at this desecration, but there was nothing but wild applause.

Quick, where's the nearest Al-Qaida recruiting station? Strap me up with a dozen nukes, Ahmed, because I just can't take any more....

(Just kidding, you soulless, blood-spattered NSA snoop traitors, you, who are monitoring this board...)[*]

Joe Quinn on
Obama and the 2012 Election
Links back to the original post follow each quote in brackets

I will never forget my introduction to Barack Obama in that keynote speech at the Demokrat Convention of 2004. I knew, instantly, that Obama was going to be a Presidential force to be reckoned with in the future, although in my political naivete, I suspected that he was being primed for 2012 or even 2016. No, folks, he was being primed, right then and there, for 2008, and I was too naïve to realize it.

But I did know that he never could have reached that podium unless he had sold himself, body and soul, to the Cryptocracy. I didn’t know that details of that unholy sale (as perhaps I know them now), but I knew that he was a creature of the Cryptocracy. That was my introduction to Barack Obama, and I have never liked or trusted the man a bit since that time. [*]

I go nuts when people call Obama a "socialist," by which term they really mean "commie pinko faggot niggah who should be opening the door to the White House rather than be residing in it." In point of fact, Obama --- like Clinton and, quite possibly, Carter before him --- is a fascist fellow-traveler. [*]

In fact, Barack Obama has always been part of conventional mainstream politics, made clear in campaign appearances with Robert Rubin and other Usual Suspects, the re-appointment of Robert Gates, the apparent assurance given to George W. Bush' that the Obama administration would not pursue investigations to hold members of the Bush team accountable for possible criminal acts. [*]

As the 18th poet said, "coming events cast their shadows before." Everything that Obama is doing now was foreseen thirty years ago. [*]

I voted for Obama ONLY because I was terrified that, if McCain won, Palin would murder him (a la I, Claudius). But I knew last fall that the guy was a steaming pile of horse****, and if you don't believe me, just call up the posts that I made in the fall of 2008 about Obama... [*]

Obama was a Trojan Horse from the get-go (just as Clinton was in 1993), and the evidence that he has betrayed us is now starting to pour in massively. [*]

The only reason why Joe Sixpack and his hag wife, Soccer Mom Darlene, ever supported [Obama] in the first place (to the extent that they ever DID support him, which is debatable) was because they thought he would sail a coupla shekels their way (hell, Coors beer and the ballet lessons for the tiny tots costs REAL money, you know!).
...
But what Joe Sixpack and Soccer Mom Darlene don't realize is that Obama has done such a good job playing Uncle Tom, complete with the Step-n-Fetchit routine, before the Wall Street corporate gentry, that he will pull off the political miracle of the century (attributed, no doubt, to his transcendent political genius) and get re-elected. [*]

Obama is revealing himself as trash-with-flash. He really has nothing to say, and he says it very, very well...[*] Unless he discovers a conscience (which I strongly doubt that he will), Obama will be re-elected in 2012 just as Clinton was re-elected in 1996. [*]

It is possible that Obama might win a second term in 2012 for the same reason that Clinton won a second term in 1996, i.e. because nobody else of any talent really wanted the job. But even if Obama wins, his second term (2013-2017) will end up being as sterile as Clinton's (1997-2001). And then in the Election of 2016, we shall witness the fourth wave of Amerikan electoral fascism (following those of 1968, 1980 and 2000).

All of this seems so patently clear to me... Image [*]

I oppose Obama because I have always believed that he was a puppet of the Reagan-Bush fascists. Yes, I voted for him in 2008 (and, if there is no other choice, I will vote for him in 2012) as the lesser of two evils, but I have never been fooled by him.

Things are so far gone, folks, that hope cannot come to us from either political party. Which means that, since no third party candidate can possibly win, there is no hope for us, politically. That's all that I am saying. But then, that's all that I have been saying for almost six years now... [*]
