It's 2014: Already Past Time For A New P&G Deck?

Post by Riddick » 03-20-2014 11:28 AM

Is it just me or has anyone else come to realize how even as we're well into the third month of the new year, we've all just been starting new topics in "Politics and Government 2010-2013"?

While it's really not THAT big of a deal, there's a little bit of Adrian Monk in me that is uncomfortable with that. Mebbe instead of a new deck, it'd be simple enough to bump 2013 up in the existing title?

The other option would be to just go on, continue as we have and ignore the date discrepancy... My inner Monk would have trouble there, but I guess he'd have to live with it.

No actually I like your sense of order and you are correct - we must have a deck appropriately named for 2014.

I am confident we can make this happen. Thanks for the suggestion.

Gloriously OT ~ are any of you dreading the beginning (probably this summer) of the new "campaigns" for "president"? Ready to "vote" for something "different"?

Gah! I am already cynical.

Done, I archived the old forum and made a brand spanking new one. I'll go see if I can move some posts in...

So long as it's a safe bet we'll see nothing new or different? I'd say being cynical isn't all too terribly IN-apropos.

You know how cynical I am relative to politics and yet I can't say I am dreading it. I liken it to my husband when he followed the Rams and they always lost and he swore each time it was the last time he would watch them but he always did.

I think it's sort of kind of like that only more serious I am thinking.:D

Was gonna say: "Does it really matter? All these things pretty much started back then anyway", but, it's probably time to put 2013 to rest anyway..... :D
There you go man, keep as cool as you can. Face piles and piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave. And keep on thinking free. (Moody Blues)

Nice thing about being a Lions fan. You never expect a win, and you don't care. If they do win, (by some intervention of God), then it's a surprise.
