1st GOP Pres Debate postponed - Reuters
First Republican Presidential Debate for 2012 postponed for lack of candidates.
A very strange time for Republicans, as they strategerize and jockey for position in a potential field which seems to range from the sub-prime to the ridiculous.
Anyway:

I think that must be it...
The msm also awaits.
You mean, the extreme extremists? Yeah, I heard about them.
They're just scared in the same way McCain was scared.

Because if they declaired now, they would lose their gigs on FOX.

Donald Trump -- the only one I'd vote for at this point -- has to wait until "The Apprentice" is over before he can announce. That's...what it's come to.
But honestly, I'm not unimpressed by Trump. The rest are the same Romney/Gingrich re-runs, or the Palin/Bachmann wackos. Truthfully, I think the Party is just waiting until someone viable emerges.

Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?

Personally - I think the May date was way too soon anyway. Elections aren't for another year plus away. This idea of any party to start campaigning over a year and a half before elections wastes money, time and resources. (Let alone the fact many are in elected positions or jobs - look at the loss of work time - or absence from elected positions to do work they were elected to do...)
