Oh, good grief... Doesn't anyone READ anymore?
The only Birth Certificate I can get (since 1985) is the one EXACTLY like President Obama's. The "long form" as you people call it, is no longer available to any of us. You can view it at your County Seat, if you're willing to pay $20/hour for someone to go search for days through the archives... but you can't copy it, and copies are no longer mailed out, no matter how much you offer to pay. I know this because I TRIED to get a copy of mine, 4 years ago, and even though I was IN THE COURT HOUSE IN THE COUNTY SEAT WHERE I WAS BORN, they said it would take a minimum of 10 working days to locate the records from the 1940s, and all I could do is LOOK at it - not get copies, not even hold it in my hands.

The copies I have for my own children are a semi-short form, but they list name, date, parents names (including maiden name), weight, hospital, plus page reference in county records and they have notarized seal. (BTW also have those complementary hospital birth records and that goes back over 40 years....)
BUT its not just that (birth certificate), its all the OTHER records that have been 'sealed away'. That is even more difficult to comprehend the WHY?

CK I think one thing that is severely over looked is that YES BO could and prolly WAS born in Hawaii but I could also see his father being a proud African Muslim Wanting his SON to DUAL citizenship and if this was EVER the case and these missing records have PROOF of that " *squak*Squak* HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM"

No ...It`s because like it or not Presidents ANY President is American HISTORY and BO is one of most unknown ....least Open Presidents of past 50 yrs with his personal records...I am a history buff...and it`s important for that Presidents are open with there pasts so I know how they will act in the future!!

There is a third option, which is that he's metaphorically alien -- that is, alienated from the traditional cultural mainstream of America and Western Europe. Which he is, by his own admission.
As for as the tedious racism charge, I'm reasonably confident no one would be saying the same stuff if Allen West was president.

There's been numerous incidents like this this week. Seems like the astroturfing has begun in earnest. I guess the word's gone out -- the campaign's begun, and "let's not be civil." Maybe we should start a thread to document this.
Of course, the only reason they're treating West like this is the color of his skin -- right?

As this unidentified woman was being removed from the proceedings, she continued her tirade and used an expletive to address a police officer, which resulted in the officer arresting the woman for trespassing.

held a job for 8 yrs made my car payment every month. The BUSH years were GREAT for me

Well, I'm sure he'd be interested to read this, because apparently he just released it....
About the only weird thing I can see about it is the mother's name is listed as "Stanley Ann Dunham," not "Obama," although she does sign her name that way, although also somewhat oddly, putting the "Stanley" in parenthesis. I guess she hated the name, understandably. So is the big secret that they weren't married at the time of Barack Obama's birth? There always was speculation about this.
