Romney Loses Out on Crucial Endorsement

Post by Riddick » 07-30-2012 01:34 PM

Forget George Clooney and Sarah Jessica Parker,
Obama may have found a new favorite celebrity surrogate --!

The presumptive Republican nominee just lost Ron Jeremy's endorsement, and with it the support of millions of Americans who turn to the porn legend for political guidance.

Excerpted from
The Inside Track at bostonherald.com:
Adult film star Ron Jeremy has starred in more than 2,000 pornographic flicks, but when the L.A. porn king isn’t stripping down on-screen, he likes to sit back on the couch with his pet turtle, Cherry, and watch a little “O’Reilly Factor.”

“He knows I’m a big fan of his,” Jeremy told the Track. “I disagree with most of what he says, but I love his sincerity, his humor, and the way he presents it. He’s very, very entertaining.”

But not too convincing, because come November, Jeremy will be voting to re-elect President Obama. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any love for Mitt Romney and his crew.

“I think he means well, I think he’s a good man,” Jeremy said.

“I think the fact that he’s such an amazing father proves a lot. I give him a lot of credit. He’s raised some good sons. When a man is a really, really good father, that’s very important,” said Ron, a lifelong bachelor. “It’s a good race.”

I just bet Romney is honored to hear this. :)

The President tries hard to sound macho,
but he's no Clint Eastwood -

I'd considered speculating as to why that may be, but after further consideration I decided there are some things that are better left unsaid.

(That said, speculation on just what is better left unsaid is left as an exercise for the reader.)

In my opinion, excuse making and placing the blame on others is lacking in maturity and more consistent with childlike behavior. Little boys act like that but to my mind adult men do not.

When I hear the President verbalizing his class warfare rhetoric, making excuses, it strikes me as whiny not to mention the clear intent to incite which is petty and should be above him as President.

All in all in my opinion he does not exhibit statesman like behavior.
