Caught in the Lie

It pains me to have someone stand in front of the American public and lie, then be protected by the very government which is suppose to work for the people. This is one of those instances where I agree with Islamic law, and a liar's mouth shall be forever silenced.
Lois G. Lerner, the woman at the center of the Internal Revenue Service scandal over special scrutiny of conservative groups, specifically targeted tea party applications and directed that they be held up in 2011 in order to come up with an agency policy, according to several of Ms. Lerner’s emails released by a House committee Thursday.

And before anyone makes this partisan, I don't care which party you're on, if you lie ... you lose your tongue and voice,

Maybe if it happens more often than not the vermin in Washington would get the hint.

This despicable twit is on PAID leave for lying.

WE are paying her time off for lying.

Why isn't she back before Congress and NOW?

Don't hold your breath. Nothing will ever come of any of these scandals. The left is to intrenched in all government institutions.

It's over Johnny .

And yet the videographer who supposedly NOT, set off the Benghazi event remains jailed.

You see he could be gotten to at 2am and dragged to jail but this public servant who remains to serve on our dime - she can't be touched.

YA and the LIES about ObamaCare....

INCLUDING:

"An additional 3.8 percent tax on dividends, interests, capital gains and royalties--that was embedded in the Obamacare law--also took effect this year."

from a link off drudge also included how more taxes than ever have been received but the spending three times higher than the 'high # of taxes received'...

So I look at the note about interests - gee does that include the less than a half of ONE % from bank accounts? Or other things in that list that aren't even at a 3.8% level??

You would have a very empty capital. Can you name one single politician or high ranking official who does not lie? I know I can't. I guarantee if you scrutinize anyone in public office you will find a lie.

Does not minimize this, but it is daily life.

And the problem with this is what?

I would rather have a capital devoid of every bureaucrat than one with lies on his lips.

maybe the system is the problem, not the rats who live in it...

Possibly. But more probable is the rats spread disease.

We are probably at the point of deciding who is the "least" dirty.

Unfortunately politics attracts certain personality types and those who are there to serve - well not much of that anymore unless they are serving themselves.

If I worked for the government, I would be compelled to testify on anything related to my work. If I refused to testify, I would lose my job at minimum and possibly be prosecuted. If I did work for the government, I wouldn't have the stature and rank that Ms. Lerner has, so I would have no protection.

As I mentioned, I don't work for the government, and I didn't post this comment......

Some math... I turned sixty. I worked the numbers. If I retire, (and do nothing for income), I'll get $15,100 from SS. My premiums under Obamacare with all exemptions applied will be $9,783.56 a year. That leaves me with how much for food, etc? I guess I better stay working, or find something to do in retirement.

voguy -- like many who are already retired - trying to figure out how to put aside the thousands required for property taxes (that keep going up) and house insurances, car insurances, etc. let alone food, utilities, etc.

AND the few who have IRAs or stocks - who get charged taxes on monies already taxed when they bought into some of the IRAs, etc. See you could only deduct $2K from being taxed, but a lot of people put in more than that $2K - in hopes of building up a nest-egg for retirement. Yet when year ends sent out and if they receive more than 2K yr - oh its taxed. (Could add that interest each year already included in yearly Part B interests on tax schedules -- now must pay taxes on already taxed monies!)
