NOTES - Active from 1968 to 1983, the British rock band Badfinger's big break came when Paul McCartney had them record his composition "Come And Get It" for the film The Magic Christian, starring Peter Sellers & Ringo Starr. Paul produced the track and played piano and maracas. The result was an infectiously catchy pop classic that reached number seven on the U.S. charts.
McCartney also assisted the group with two other songs recorded for the movie's soundtrack, "Rock Of All Ages" (the B-side of "Come and Get It") and "Carry On Till Tomorrow," with the strings on the latter arranged and conducted by Beatles producer George Martin.
