DIY Steel Guitar

Post by voguy » 11-12-2011 08:57 PM

I can't play guitar, but this seems like an easy project, especially with all the spare guitar parts floating around. Sort of old article. One of the posters on GearSlutz built one.

There was a Seymour Duncan SH-4 and SH-2 going for only $15 in the pawn shop downtown that looked new. Darn things go for $60-$80. Still trolling the shop for electronic keyboard stuff. (Love to find a Mini Moog or Voyager).

I've seen those. That's a great site.

What do you mean by trolling the shop for electronic stuff? Vintage Moog stuff isn't cheap.
