Welcome Jason. :)

Judging by the location of your opening post, I gather you are a listener of Art Bell classic shows. Not sure how long noory's crew will play those, but the fineartstream site plays Art Bell oldies 24-7 for your listening enjoyment.

Hi Jason, and welcome to the good ship FF! I certainly hope you find the forum offers you more than ample opportunity for involvement in many areas and topics, even beyond this particular deck...

Incidentally, just as an adjunct to Dale's reply, along with the site he cited, u7radio.org also offers a lineup of "The Very Best of Art Bell".

As mentioned in the FAQ for this ORR deck, should anyone care to start up a chat some evening about a show currently playing on either one or the other of the sites, they're free to do so.

Of course, this is all in lieu of Art starting a new program. I'd say that certainly seems more of a possibility than it has up 'til recently - Then again, it appears cinching a deal is unlikely until he gets over his "anger management" issues with Premrad!

Hello Everyone,

Nice meeting you, thank for the warm welcome! Yes, I am quite the long time as many of us are fans of Art Bell and his long running beating midnight desert show. The shows use to Stream for free over the Internet as I recall many years ago. I'm presently 35, way not so long ago. I began listening to At age seventeen.

Each time I think about when Id listened to the show as Art would host it through the wee hours of the night a commercial break would arise and the long pause with a released chuckle by Art, then Crystal Gale - Midnight In the Desert. Cool Stuff!

I found this Fourm just by searching for Art Bell information like I've been doing over the many many years since his retirement, attempting to keep track of his status and such. Its been difficult with the sources of bits and peaces!

Anyhow,

Thank you again. I could talk all day.

We're heading out to the inlaws this afternoon sometime. The drive wayis plowed and and the main roads are ready to go. The ground hog is fired. LOL.

I have pictures on my facebook profile. The amount is just overwhelming.

The wife is the facebooker in this house, and she just plays the games, heh. But leave a link to your fb page and I'm sure there are many that will check it out.

Also, you can attach pics to posts here. Must be smaller than 640 pixels on the long side and 100KB file size tho..just use the Attach file feature below your post before you Submit Reply.

Climate is odd here as we're between zones. We do get snow but more often than not we get ice in the form of sleet and freezing rain...not as pretty or as fun as snow IMHO. And can cause mass power outages and I likes my 'lectricty. Broadband works better when we have power..as does the heat. ;)

I took this pic at dusk on day 5 of no power from 2007 ice storm from the living room window. We still had 5 more days with no power and no melting since temps never rose above freezing in the daytime and dipped into the teens or lower at night. I was very thankful for kerosene heat, an insulated house, the help of others and those amazing guys with the tool belts and the cherry-picker trucks..
