You know I just had a revelation - finally.:D

Last night his electronic cat box finally gave out so I bought a new one a few hours ago and as I in the basement setting it all up I got to thinking that while she was here he was running around the house at night because he would not come out during the day so he was creating such a ruckus running and running and jumping off of everything, and I did not want the baby to wake up I put him in the bathroom and shut the door.

The combination of it all was just infuriating to him and he let me know.

Our granddaughter sleeps in her Pack and Play when she is with us. When she shows up the animals are not happy and our cat simply goes in to hiding.

She left a week ago and shortly thereafter I was smelling something foul but I could not find what it was. Yesterday I was in that bedroom again and needless to say I discovered what it was. Our cat was using the Pack and Play as his litter box along with the blanket in there and three stuffed toys.

I cannot tell you how furious I was and found him and said some very unkind things to him and he knows he is in trouble because he has not been out at all.

I am so disgusted and there is no going back to that Pack and Play - it is over.

Sounds like jealousy Dio. Maybe try giving him extra attention when the little one is around. I don't know if cats would respond to Dr. Benjamin Spock's method of handling jealousy though. :D

Cats and dogs can be spiteful. My Emma cat scratches the furniture or the wall if I don't jump up to feed her the minute she snaps her paws. :(

RA,

You are correct and he showed me. I think I better call him out in a nice voice and try to make up before he drives us to the poor house.:D

I knew he was hurt but I had no clue he could get furious like I do - now that is another level entirely.:D

And cats can be vindictive.

I kicked my kitty out of my studio once, and as soon as I opened the door, he shot in and started sharpening his claws on my keyboard bag... which he NEVER has done. Kind of a kitty, "So you thought you can ban me?"

OK I get it - you know I understood the jealousy about the baby as our 3 pound Maltese is not nice either but I had not thought about the thought process which goes in to being vindictive.

My methods of annoyance and retaliation are more immediate - I am guessing the Passive Aggressive acts are the fathers influence.:D

Yes I am sure it is the locking him out of the entire home in the bathroom for about three nights.

Those Incisors are unbelieveable. Sometimes you forget they are there until you walk down the hall and they pounce on the back of your ankle and take a chomp.::p

A wonderful picture and almost reminds me of Sylvester the Cat. I love him.
