Also reminds me I always meant to try Kirlian photography, you are as likely as anyone I can think of that may have experimented with this... ?

oh boy... I hope I have not sent you down too much of a rat hole... but it is fascinating. High voltage and photography, is there a better match?

the bird is freaking awesome, I am in awe of how you get such good closeups of things that move fast. I am like a bumbling idiot, by the time I turn my camera on the moment is gone. I run for my camera probably once every 3 days or so, and almost always fail to capture what I intended. Kind of how I play music as well. Oh well, I try.

Yeah... the bird. Take a look at this result. I think the internet has run with this! I had been getting 50-100 views, with approximately 30% of those 'favoriting' (which is great performance for me).

I did get a chance to visit the reserve but didn't see much. That pic I grabbed was recently posted elsewhere.
I do know that they've had a lot of trouble in the past getting Jaguars near the cameras. Believe it or not they bait the traps now with Chanel #5. Apparently the Jaguars can't resist.
