Yes, 18-135. It's the kit zoom which came with my canon.

I both love you and hate you right now. Why don't I have frickin birds and snakes hangin about waiting to be photographed? Do you have some sort of weird deal with the herpetologists and ornithologists?

currently, I am challenging myself to use only my kit lens. I really want the 50mm 1.8, and the bellows (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003EDTG8W) - but the challenge is to use the kit lens and the modified S95 for everything...

Probably 20hrs a week (of 84hrs/week spent on work related things) dedicated directly to photography/post.

I also have a special deal with piers and other seaside things. The piers, for instance, have all agreed to stand still for me while I capture their spirits.

Spectacular! Makes me feel like I am actually standing on that beach.

I like your caption too. ;)

I love reflective self-portraits :)

Great green colour as well, it would be amazing as a fujifilm slide.

I call those 'self-reflectoraits'. I was attempting to catch the newer car in the reflection of the older car, while simultaneously catching the complete profile of the older car in a compound reflection visible in the newer car.

It actually is visible, but it more visible in the larger original size. ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/76475040@N ... 0/sizes/o/ ) . It was only very obvious if I drastically altered the image.

yeah you need more reflection on the newer car, a real hubcap could have worked. The steel pattern on the bottom half is the old car's bumper?

You've given me an idea for a new painting. Will save this pic. :)
