I wonder how long it will take for the C2C website to remove Art's picture - not to mention Somewhere In Time.

They will probably keep "Somewhere in Time" because of the contracts they have with users of the podcast. The picture I expect to be removed in the near future.

I think you will have to pay for both internet and satellite in your situation, but ask in that thread you may find otherwise.

I would be happy to help you with your old account, I will set the email for it to be the same as your new account and then you can try again...
Thanks, it is awesome to be back! I think I have it figured out. I am on a Facebook " People Who Miss Art Bell on C2C" someone replied there I could get an Internet subscription for $14.99 and can save it on my computer.

Here's my true opinion on the program.
Art Bell is the Johnny Carson of late night, talk radio.
Johnny Carson, for those who may have never heard of him, was the greatest late night, talk host on tv. He hosted the Tonight show for 30 years.
He was & still is, the King of talk TV.

Jay Leno came around and he sucked. He was not Johnny Carson, he didn't have what it took to run the show. The Tonight show should have been given to Johnny's hand picked successor: David Letterman.

When that did not happen, Johnny was gone and David decided to compete.

We ended up with a damn bobblehead that consumed too much coffee. I think that sums up Art Bell & George Noory.

Now, imagine if Johnny Carson came back to do a show that ended an hour before the Tonight Show began (This would have worked much better than Jay Leno's version).
Would anyone really want to tune in and watch the King's former show, with a half-assed clown that can't even keep his own head straight?

You just had the real deal.
Now do you want to stay up later and spend time with a poor imitation?

But Leno is number one in the ratings. If they gave the job to Letterman and Leno went to CBS Then NBC would not have the number one show.

Apparently they don't care anymore as they are ousting Leno anyway. Even with his number one rating.

Maybe they saw your post.

Leno is someone I never got into.
But on the other hand if you listen to what Noory says, Coast to Coast AM has the highest number of affiliates and listeners that the show has ever had.

It depends on what generation you grew up in, or how you perceive a person's ability. A lot more people will say Noory is great than there are who will say he sucks.
My point is that it is all a personal preference.
Noory, like Leno, has brought in his own audience & fanbase.

With Art back at the helm, the younger generation is in for a real treat. :)

Also keep in mind that NBC is in fourth place in a four network model.

It's not really a matter of opinion. If you have one that's great. But in the ratings Leno is number one.

I very seldom watch any of them.

I find it interesting that the republican party may boycott any presidential debates on NBC as well as CNN.

I'm not sure that I don't agree, not based on political viewpoint, but because both networks have slid in public perception of truth, accuracy, and agenda.

Frankly I am surprised they had they guts to do it.

After Candy Crowley and her pathetic sycophantic excuse as a moderator and a few others by the way - it is way past due, just in my opinion.::p
