New Deck for Art Bell's Dark Matter

We can do both real-time chats and discussion in here... enjoy!

This is gonna be great. :)

So gang, with live shows 4 nights a week, we should bring back live chatting during the shows. With the new hours of the program being more workable for those on the East Coast, this should be very exciting.

Any highly dedicated forum members out there looking to swing a weekly shift as a live chat host here on the new deck?

What we're thinking of is a set schedule where we have 4 hosts, and they each cover one night. If someone wanted multiple nights, or was willing to cover them that might work as well. Should a host miss a night, getting in touch with the other hosts to get someone to cover would be most appreciated so that the room ran much like it did in the past. No special work, not much labor involved here. Just being there to say hello, and run the room as they see fit.

I'm volunteering for Tuesday nights based on my work schedule.

Anyone else in? :)

Thursday would actually be a good night for me, if no one else wants it....

This is very strange, apparently George Noory a few years back hosted a DVD series titled "Dark Matter"
There is a youtube video for "Dark Matter hosted by George Noory" here:

Aren't there any copyrights on these show titles?

Here was a website with info on the DVDs, looks like they weren't successful:

Depends if they file for the name. An organization I belonged to had the name "After Dark" when Coast approached the club and offered a few bucks for the name. As I recalled, it cost the club $10 to file for the name.

This is just a little tid-bit I have here, remove if you need to.

Last night listening to George, a woman called in, her last sentence was, "I heard Art Bell." Crash, cut off immediately. George says " I wonder what happened to her, hope she didn't hurt herself." :D

I read at another forum a guy there took credit for that as a prank call, the guy pretended to be a woman calling in and then lost it and started laughing at the end and so they cut him off. :D

The same guy called in a few days earlier and asked Noory if he would be a guest on Art Bell's new show. Noory answered immediately shouting "absolutely NOT!"

Expect lots of attempts by callers to bring up Art Bell and his new show in the coming weeks, the c2cam screeners will have to up their game it appears.

If people are half as persistent as some of the Howard Stern fans, this could get interesting.

I hereby name them "Bell's Bombers".

:) Could be. I just wish Art would have worked out something with XM where the show could be carried on delay, and aired on terrestrial radio. I know a few people with XM, but most have given it up due to cost and content repetition.
