Mon Mar 13 - Pamela Oslie - Mind Beyond the Brain

Pamala Oslie is an author, consultant, and radio show host. Pamala has appeared on many popular television and radio shows as well as being featured in many national magazines. Pam has written four successful and popular books and has a very extensive clientele, including many celebrities. Since 1983, she has traveled throughout the country presenting seminars & conducting workshops about the emerging human potential, energy fields, and the power of our beliefs to create our reality. She has also been a speaker at international conferences such as The International Forum on New Science, a featured presenter for Fortune 500 companies and in 2014 she was awarded the Holistic Transformational Leader of the Year Award by the Global Association of Holistic Psychotherapy and Coaching.

Tue Mar 14 - Seth Shostak - Exoplanets

Seth Shostak is the Senior Astronomer at the SETI Institute in Mountain View, California, and the Director of the Institute’s Center for SETI Research.

He has an undergraduate degree in physics from Princeton University, and a doctorate in astronomy from the California Institute of Technology. For much of his career, Seth conducted radio astronomy research on galaxies, and has published approximately 60 papers in professional journals. During more than a decade, he worked at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, in Groningen, The Netherlands, using the Westerbork Radio Synthesis Telescope. He also founded and ran a company producing computer animation for TV.

Seth has written nearly 500 popular magazine and Web articles on various topics in astronomy, technology, film, and television. He lectures on astronomy and other subjects at various academic venues, and gives approximately 60 talks annually at both educational and corporate institutions. Seth has been a Distinguished Speaker for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He was also Chair of the International Academy of Astronautics’ SETI Permanent Committee for a decade.

Fri Mar 17 - Steve Asher - Hauntings of the Kentucky State Penitentiary

Steve E. Asher a paranormal researcher, freelance writer, artist, and lover of music. Steve worked over ten years in law enforcement and as a correctional officer. He is a native of Princeton, Kentucky. Steve has always had a deep interest in the Kentucky State Penitentiary since his early childhood. His late father told him of the many dark things that inhabit the oppressive halls of the prison. Once Steve began working there himself he experienced some of the same phenomena himself. It was then he knew he must write about them.

He has traveled worldwide, most recently to Thailand where he and his wife adopted one of their two sons. Steve is an avid lover of the nighttime. He has said this is when he feels most truly alive, in the darkness of the night, and therefore most productive in his paranormal research and writing.
