I will say that Trump has incited something of the sort in Democrats for the last four years. The more serious point here is Democrats are determined to hold a Senate "trial," unconstitutional insofar the Constitution clearly contemplates only sitting office-holders can be impeached -

Beyond that, a second Trump impeachment is pointless & stupid. Why waste time & energy? Normally, an incoming administration wants attention focused on its own plans & priorities & the less said about the last guy who held the office the better. But the times are not normal.

Weirdly, but understandably, the last person Democrats want to call attention to is Joe Biden. Riding their hate for Trump obsession as far as it will take them, only when all Trump-hate opportunities are exhausted will they turn to the more difficult business of governing.
