I've never heard a politician seriously admit they are wrong.
I've heard them say "I'm sorry", but it's usually in the context of; if they don't make the effort to con people, more trouble will befall them. The character of 99% of the politicians is they can do no wrong, do as I say not as I do, and what is yours is mine.
