Getting out and running for office proves the point. You don't run unless you have a following. The majority of party people will be more than willing to vote for "their guy" and overlook everything else, if the end meets to their desire.
As sick as it may sound, I'm still on record as saying in our lifetime there will be people who will support a person running for office with ties to child molestation. That heinous crime will be overlooked because it's "inconvenient" to the success of the candidate.
The part of my quote you cut out deals with this specifically. I believe they are all criminals, and I go much further than most probably, I believe the top echelons are forced/persuaded to join a cult before they can be allowed in any sort of power. I believe mind controlled slaves are used to blackmail people. I believe there are child kidnapping rings operating to serve these cults. It is not just a belief, there is ample evidence if one cares to look deep enough, but most don't want to know...

I don’t know that I would pair superficial with class as sort of a dichotomy to me.
Anyway not everyone had the wool pulled over their eyes even thou they were elected twice. You have to understand how Liberal policies in our country have made so many dependent and impotent. Folks are voting for their stuff and their particular tribe. I don’t see the majority of Americans voting as Americans but rather for or against stupid issues such as free birth control and other crap like that.
Clinton has the women’s vote hands down and yet his antics if committed by a Republican - well you know the drill. As I see it the women who claim to be so independent and so very concerned with making certain women are treated with respect and as equals - well they just goose step to vote for a misogynist.

You may be right, with some of the most powerful people in the world involved in the unthinkable.

That might make sense except for the 2 terms of republican presidency in there.

Ah yes George Bush and your hatred of him because of Iraq.
For those of us who work and support those who work the system, it does make sense.

The Republicans were in power for 8 yrs. The "dependent and impotent" policies were no damn different then than they are now. How do you figure things were so wonderful under their phony regime? If I recall, it was the policies that were implemented under their phony regime, that caused the bottom to fall out, which increased the need for the "dependent and impotent" policies, that BTW, have been in place for decades, no matter which phony regime was running the show. I also recall that it was Clinton and Gingrich who implemented a meaningful overhaul of the welfare system under a Democratic administration.
We may get to a place in the future where there are no more safety nets and you may be living in the starving baby paradise you yearn for. God help those who will live to see it.

RA please- have you any clue about the unemployment, the increase of those on food stamps, the HIGH rate of unemployment of Blacks and Hispanics under this goon. Have you any idea how the poverty level has increased.
It was about Hope and Change so any misery which may have been brought about by the evil Bush and Cheney was going to be fixed by this transparent and open regime. Sorry but George has been gone a very long time now and it was up to wonder boy to fix it all and he and his policies made it worse. He is the king of crony capitalism and his economic policy and Stimulus crapola flooded the gates of the unemployment, SSDI, food stamp, welfare and every other give away program which is available. Clinton came together with the Republicans for Welfare reform and this idiot has done his best to undo it.
The current occupant is a joke - why don’t you read about his legacy bill - healthcare for all. He couldn’t even control his ADD to at least focus on his signature bill.
I would never say people who believe in responsibility and accountability are one step away from instituting a “baby starving” society. That is pure hyperbole and further if you want to see real baby starving it’s here - just look around at any third world country.
Turning people into emotional cripples does nothing for them or society.

Nowhere in my post did I laud Obama, so please stop insinuating that I think he's any different than any of the corrupt assholes that now run the world.
It is you that speaks in Republican talking points with little substance to support your criticisms. The welfare queen crap is old and means nothing to people who can see past ridiculous party loyalty. The Dems masquerade as Liberals and the Republicans masquerade as their worst enemy, when in fact they are all in bed together and that is what I was trying to point out. And due to this sad state of affairs, we are all well on our way to becoming third world.

RA,
Nothing which I posted is obscure. It is common knowledge and factual, with all varying links and posts on this forum.
When I hear folks grumble about wanting substance on certain issues -it’s sort of like discussing if WWII took place. Ok well then prove it - send a link. I mean really lets not be silly. Just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean the comments are inaccurate.
You have mentioned the Welfare Queen comment in conjunction with Reagan and the Republicans before so here is a link for you:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welfare_queen
By the way I think the Dems do an excellent job of being Liberals and Socialists - no masquerading there.
As for the Republicans - like the Dems many or most are in it for themselves and then there is that yellow streak down their backs.
Don’t paint me with that team brush because there is nothing I have written which would give that impression. What I believe is what I believe and not because of any team affiliation.
