16 Day Martha's Vineyard Vacation On $12M Estate!

Post by Riddick » 07-16-2014 02:53 PM

This is NOT Wally World, folks. Safe bet the Obamas won't be bumping into the Griswolds.

It's going to be hot tubs, basketball, tennis and golf for the first family this summer, having set plans for a 16-day vacation in Martha's Vineyard, Mass., on a $12 million, 10-acre forested estate on the southwestern corner of the island.

It will be new digs for the first family, who have summered on tony Martha's Vineyard every year of Obama's presidency, except in 2012 when he was running for reelection.

It will be among the longest vacations Obama has taken and four times longer than the average 3.8 day vacation the typical American family takes.

There goes that idea, I guess......

What? Is that true? How is that even possible?

I find many of my coworkers will take a day of two at a time and combine it with a weekend, so it may eb true.

Also, many part time and per diem jobs don't have vacation time. My son works full time at a restaurant and doesn't get paid vacation.....

It's al part of this wonderful economic recovery/ jobs creation package that Obama's put together, don't you know....???

Many places have less than they used to have for "vacations" - or even sick days...

However, many jobs used to be 40 hr weeks, now???
