When she was confronted with the official count re the subway riders, as opposed to Trump's numbers re the subway riders, she said Trump's numbers were "Alternative facts". Not quite that simple, Kbot, but it is when certain media outlets(at this time the majority) take an idea and repeat it over and over and over and on and on, till it imprints on the human brain, some say it takes only 3 times to imprint, some are more susceptible it appears or we would all be parroting and have not a clue, that blank response you speak of, they have no BS meter, if repeated by a trusted source (as in" they wouldn't lie to ME!") Also it feeds Hatred carried by by many ill informed humans . Humans will feed off hatred, like a fire in a dry forest, it spreads in mindless frenzy. A classic example is the Woman's March this last Saturday, it was a theme set , Hate filled, feeding frenzy.

I don't know, that you believe propaganda even exists, there are some interesting papers out on MK Ultra, a government project, that may be an interesting read for you, also Saul Alinsky's "Rule for Radicals" a play book on how to disassociate humans from rational reasoning, the easy way. A question I've had with this election, why was it OK for NBC to hide the story about Trump grabbing women for all these years, as he was then a declared Democrat, but, once he ran as a Republican, all of a sudden, it was

Women in general do not "adore" serial sexual predators per se, as all women have been victims of them somehow, some way and we really do know that all men are predators on some level or another. This fact is the biological nature of the beast. Women who vote for cads like Clinton and Trump choose to overlook their extreme sexual behaviour under the age old adage that "boys will be boys", because he represents their life long "adoration" of a political party. They fool themselves into believing that reports regarding their sexual behaviour are all media fabricated, or greatly exaggerated and it has nothing to do with some kind of collective masochism as you appear to be alluding.
