A Preview Of Trump's Seven Imminent Executive Orders

Having already signed a (mostly symbolic) executive order on Obamacare on Friday night, urging US agencies to "waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation" of provisions deemed to impose fiscal burdens on states, companies or individuals, Trump is preparing to unload a volley of many more executive orders.Courtesy of Axios, which quotes "one of the best-wired Republican lobbyists in town", here is a preview of the initial round of Trump executive actions, some of which may hit as soon as Sunday afternoon:

Look for a possible hiring freeze at executive branch
5-year lobbying ban on transition and administration officials
Mexico City policy, which prevents foreign NGOs from getting U.S. family planning money if they provide abortions with non-U.S. funds. (It's already illegal to use U.S dollars on abortions.)
Task the Defense Secretary and joint chiefs to come up with plan to eviscerate ISIS
Report on readiness, and something cyber security related
Border/immigration: Something on sanctuary cities, expand E-Verify, an extreme vetting proposal
Trade: Withdraw from TPP and a thorough review of NAFTA

Axios also notes that "the Mexico City executive order could come as soon as today."

Furthermore, watch for dozens of EPA executive orders coming down the pike. "Says a Trump source: "EPA has clean water-related and some 30,000 foot regulatory ones lined up [immediately]...We have dozens for the EPA...Starting Monday through the month of February. We have to roll them out gradually."

As we laid out before, here is a brief summary of what Trump can (and can not do) on day one. Exhibit 3 lists the President’s “Contract with Voters”, which includes several items that can be accomplished through executive action but involves significant legislative activity as well.

Trump orders weekly publication of crimes committed by illegals in sanctuary cities

In order to better inform Americans about the impact illegal aliens are having on crime rates in sanctuary cities, President Donald Trump today ordered the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to publish a weekly list of crimes committed by illegals.

In an executive order titled “Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States,” Trump directed Secretary John Kelly to be transparent with citizens.

“To better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated withsanctuary jurisdictions, the Secretary shallutilize the Declined Detainer Outcome Reportor its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens,” the order reads.

The same executive order “directs that federal funds be withheld from cities and counties that don’t cooperate with immigration officials,” Patch reports. ... ry-cities/

Gee whiz Doka! I'm work'in up a sweat just trying to keep up with his good news coming out of the Oval Office!

The Friday morning of Inauguration Day SOS Kerry wired an BHO approved a Western Union check to the Palestinian Authority for $221M. Two Republicans put a hold on it reportedly but this news today says our new President stopped payment on the check!

Strike up the band Doka! :D

Credited to Robert Spencer's Jihad Watch Daily Digest that came via e-mail just after 3 AM today and 7 days a week for a total of 365 :!:

Aww! Just think of the cement, rocks and water being used for something else besides border tunnels! How about bomb shelters for the human shields? ... lestinians

 I was just kidding about the former SOS using Western Union's check services!

It may take a whole division from the U.S. Military to keep them smiling as over worked as they are.

"Happy! Happy! Happy!" One guess on who said that nice word repeatedly on A&E. One hint he is from Central Louisiana and he and his duck hunting family are Trump supporters! :D

Wow! This is an eye "Popper"

Ten Questionable Federal Gov’t Expenditures Greater Than Trump’s Border Wall

Assuming the cost is on the high end of those estimates at $15 billion, the total cost of the border wall would constitute nearly 0.4 percent of the federal government’s $3.8 trillion FY 2015 budget.

While there are many other big ticket items on the federal budget, many of them dwarf the cost of a U.S.-Mexico border wall. Here are a few:

Trumpnomics is Happening – Comparing Candidate Trump To President Trump on Economic Policy…

Almost a year ago we outlined a predictable approach President Trump would take toward domestic economic policy if he were to win the 2016 election.  Almost three months after his victory we clearly see the economic approach is indeed exactly what he campaigned on.

Perhaps it is valuable to pause, look at where are today, and consider current progress against the prior prediction for where President Trump was heading …the economics. ... ic-policy/

On The Drudge Report a highlighted line I did not read showed some detractors are calling for a "Trumpapocalypse" and they're investing in underground bunkers left and right. I hope they invite over some African ostriches to share their freeze dried grub! Then just think of the scrambled egg possibilities!

Radio talker Hugh Hewitt was quoted last night saying the wall would be an horizon to horizon symbol of America's resolve other countries have also saying to all who confront any border wall, "No Trespassing!", "Keep Out!", and "Do Not Enter!". Heck Doka, those famous signs posted every 100' won't be needed!

CNN Attacks Trump For Keeping Promises: “Determination To Keep Campaign Promises Is Verging On An Obsession” (Video)

On Thursday The Gateway Pundit reported on a piece from the New York Times that pointed out how CNN is literally killing itself.

From The New York Times:

Unfortunately, in the past 20 months CNN’s management has let down its viewers and its journalists by sidelining the issues and real reporting in favor of pundits, prognostication andsubstance-free but entertaining TV “moments.”

On Friday CNN delivered more evidence to back up the New York Times claims that they are “sidelining the issues and real reporting” with a piece they put out about President Trump.

In the article CNN takes a bit of a swipe at the American people by calling the people who voted for Trump “disgruntled voters.” ... ion-video/

CNN's sh!tting its pants? How uncomfortable for them, hope they're using Pampers!

No surprise the political class and their MSM mouthpieces are in a poopy mood: Not to say the very fact Trump is president isn't enough to do it alone but this?? Keeping campaign promises at the rate he is may very well set a dangerous precedent!

When Trump says something, he really means it? OMG! That could lead people to expect the same of ALL elected officials - talk about throwing the whole system off balance!!

What's to become of the traditional standard of say one thing and do another? Left unchecked it could mean The End Of American Politics As We Know It and absolutely NOTHING good could possibly come from that -

Of course American politics was fine just the way it was. And we know Hillary would have kept it that way - But TRUMP? OH No, he just can't leave well enough alone...

I say, what else should we expect from a resident of NYC where the Twin Towers were attacked so ruthlessly? Where American's whole being shuddered that awful day in Washington D.C. and outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania!

From FACEBOOK today from a UK taxi driver who once drove a tall red Brighton-Hove double decker bus for 8 years

Same in the UK "wife's name here". We are besieged with rabble from Eastern Europe and for good measure, North Africa. Nearly all single young males, with parasitic tendencies. From my limited knowledge of the American political system, it appears President Trump has achieved more in 5 days than the EU wastrels have talked about for 7 months.

The EU vets male child refugees up to the age of 19 and in some cases maybe even older than 19! :?

This is Europe's smilie now from NOW ON!

Have to keep in mind that the Refugee Moratorium on said Countries is only temporary, 90/120 days at best, then it would have to go before Congress , which I kind of doubt will be done. WE DO have enough laws on the books, for the US to get at least some control of our borders back, who comes in. Can't vet , no welcome mat. The time will help to get things implemented.

Trump is doing just what he promised, calling a tempory halt to our ,never should, have happened ,Open Door, policies." To see just What the H$#l is going on.

I might add that the legislators know it it is Temporary, the ones screaming And yelling are just inciting the people to "Riot" and we have two in Oregon, that should be put in jail for inciting riots, in my opinion. :realmad:

For any one that ever thought that getting America back on track again would be easy and bloodless, I am truly sorry for you. After years , especially the last 8 of having been so easily robbed, maneuvered, brainwashed, lied to, on and on . We may find out, just about how close ,we where to losing everything including our very "selves" and our Country. And the thought of some rich guy, taking such massive abuse to keep his promises to those of us who voted for him, is a very humbling experience, actually perhaps "Historic Experience". Thank You Mr Trump for sticking by us Deplorables ! I believe that most of us and our Country are Worth It!

The First Firestorm

That hysterical reaction to the travel ban announced Friday is a portent of what is to come if President Donald Trump carries out the mandate given to him by those who elected him.

The travel ban bars refugees for 120 days. From Syria, refugees are banned indefinitely. And a 90-day ban has been imposed on travel here from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Somalia and Yemen.

Was that weekend-long primal scream really justified?

As of Monday, no one was being detained at a U.S. airport.

Yet the shrieking had not stopped.

Of the seven countries facing a 90-day ban, three are U.S.-designated state sponsors of terror, and the other four are war zones. Clearly, this is about homeland security, not religious discrimination.

First, Steve Bannon’s observation that the media are “the opposition party,” is obviously on target. While Sen. Chuck Schumer was crying on camera that the ban was “un-American,” the media were into the more serious business of stampeding and driving the protesters.

A second lesson is one every White House learns. Before a major decision is announced, if possible, get everyone’s input and everyone on board to provide what Pat Moynihan called the “second and third echelons of advocacy.”Those left out tend to leak.

A third lesson Trump should learn is that the establishment he routed and the city he humiliated are out to break him as they broke LBJ on Vietnam, Nixon on Watergate, and almost broke Reagan on the Iran-Contra affair.

While the establishment may no longer be capable of inspiring and leading the nation, so detested is it, it has not lost its appetite or its ability to break and bring down presidents.

And Trump is vulnerable, not only because he is an envied outsider who seized the highest prize politics has on offer, but because his agenda would cancel out that of the elites.

They believe in open borders, free trade, globalization. Trump believes in securing the Southern border, bringing U.S. industry home, economic nationalism, “America First.”

They want endless immigration from the Third World to remake America into the polyglot “universal nation” of Ben Wattenberg’s utopian vision. Trump’s followers want back the America they knew.

Our foreign policy elites see democratization as a vocation and an autocratic Russia as an implacable enemy.Trump instead sees Moscow as a potential ally against real enemies like al-Qaida and ISIS.

There is another reason for the reflexive howl at Trump’s travel ban. The establishment views it, probably correctly, as the first move toward a new immigration policy, built on pre-1965 foundations, and rooted in a preference for Western-Christian immigrants first.

When the Times rages that “American ideals” or “traditional American values” are under attack by Trump, what they really mean is that their ideology and agenda are threatened by Trump.

We are headed for a series of collisions and crises, and what has happened in Europe will likely happen here. As the Third World invasion and growing Islamization of the Old Continent — which the EU has proven unable to stop — has discredited centrist parties and continuously fed a populist-nationalist uprising there, so may it here also.

And Trump not only appears to have no desire to yield to his enemies in politics and the media, he has no choice, as he is now the personification of a surging Middle American counterrevolution.

Undeniably, there are great numbers of Americans who agree with the libels the Times showered on Trump and, by extension, his backers whom Hillary Clinton designated “the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic … deplorables.”

But by whatever slurs they are called, Middle Americans seem prepared to fight. And history shows that such people do not calmly accept the loss of what is most precious to them — the country they grew up in, the country they love.

They have turned to Trump to lead them. Why should he not, having been raised up by them, and knowing in his own heart what the establishment and the media think of him and would do to him?

Ten days in, and already it is “Game On!” ... -firestorm
