Since Canada has suffeciently Broken its health care system you can now move on to the good stuff, where you become the one of the many, like a grain of sand on the beach. Your needs, will be taken care of according to the masses, individual needs will no longer exist. Being a Socialist you know this already. Happy Days :D

Provincial Drug Coverage for Vulnerable Canadians

Federal government risks ignoring existing provincial drug insurance plans in push for national program

VANCOUVER—Despite widespread misperceptions, every province already provides prescription drug coverage to help Canadians—particularly seniors and lower-income Canadians—pay for pharmaceuticals, finds a new study released today by the Fraser Institute, an independent, non-partisan Canadian public policy think-tank.

“Much of the discussion about a possible national pharmacare plan seemingly assumes there’s no existing government help for Canadians to pay for medicines they need—but that’s just not true,” said Bacchus Barua, associate director of health policy studies at the Fraser Institute and co-author of Provincial Drug Coverage for Vulnerable Canadians.

Quote From Article:
"Provinces can tailor drug plans to suit their individual needs, but a single-payer national pharmacare system would put an end to that,” said Yanick Labrie, a senior fellow with the Fraser Institute who specializes in health and pharmaceutical economics.

The Fraser Institute from which you quote, is a partisan right wing propaganda organisation that does nothing but lie. I am a senior and currently there is no relief from me having to pay exorbitant prices for my meds. I would rather see the feds handle a program than individual provinces. That way if one moves around one is guaranteed not to have to pay huge fees for drugs. Take idiot Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, for instance. He is alt right and would never allow a drug plan to be implemented in Ontario.

You suck up every right wing bunch of bs that anybody feeds you without one wit of research or critical thinking. Typical! At least when I opine on US politics whether you agree with me or not, at least I know what I'm talking about.

Hey, isn't your fire department socialism? Aren't your police forces socialism? Such stupidity Doka.

Explain Please? I know of no Nationalized Fire Department, nor Police for that matter? Yet.

So you think Nationalized Meds are going to make it better? :D

Fire and police are paid for through taxes by the feds or the state. Not sure which down there. Health care can be too. At one time we didn't have greedy corps trying to persuade the Gov to go private because private is oh sooooo much better for all of us. Our system was fabulous until that started under PM Brian Mulroney.

Why wouldn't nationalised meds be better? You have an irrational fear that any national program that helps people live a more comfortable life is going to lead to COMMUNISM. For christs sake, grow up.

Up here in Mass, we had a few communities nearly leveled due to the refusal of the gas utility to upgrade their gas lines. They had been warned for DECADES to correct the issue, but as with all for-profits, they didn't. So, thousands of their paying customers (dontcha just love that - "paying customers") had their home blown to smithereens in a heartbeat. And, STILL the company protests. L:ast word I'd heard was that the completion rate of upgrading isn't even a third completion. Snow's on the way with freezing temps already.

Also, consider this, since 9-11, virtually no utilities have hardened the grid, again, citing costs.

So, we already KNOW that the grid's been hacked. The utilities know, but won't do anything about it. Gotta love it......

The nonchalance is epic. Let's not do a damn thing. Yeah, that's acting responsible. The public at large is ignorant, so what's the worry?

The grid goes down, everything's going to hell, people will be concerned about survival, not that utilites were negligent

Besides, if it happens sooner rather than later you can trust the Dems to pin it on Trump.
