i remember seeing a show on tv about terra preta a few years ago, i think it was the discovery channel (when they use to have some great shows). they showed all these 'oasis' type areas where terra preta was at and how it supported large amounts of people.

my contention of this is that at some time in the distant past there had to be a society that could develop this technology before ever finding out about terra preta. so, many eons ago there was a society that could handle such a complex and time consuming project. which leads to my point that this may have happened just after the last ice age or, more to the point, this could have been the remnants of theso called atlantis society that may have flourised before the last ice age.

"Take the giza pyramid... they have One of the shafts right now... pointing to the star sirius.... Why would the egyptians have One of the shafts of their greatest monument.... point to their God in just our lifetime....?

If it's moving One degree every 72 years.... In 72 years.. Boom it's off to some other star... and will never return to sirius for a whole 24,000 year precession cycle.... and yet here it is right in our lifetime... pointing right at sirius....

(MH: The Idea is that they were probably pointing at sirius then as well.... and it just hasn't moved....)

Exactly..... and this is blasphemy in current astrophysics... that you could have a star that doesn't precess across the sky.... but the same thing with these Shinto Temples they point to sirius.... Why I mean they were built a longtime ago... Why are they still pointing to sirius"
