Philip Kaplan is an American author who resides in England. His latest book is titled 'Battleship', an introspective look at the warships that ruled the seas well into the 2Oth century.

On the rear cover of this book, you'll find a photo which is very familiar to some of the older pirates around here . . .

Pretty kewl Spike. Maybe I'll see ya' at the gift shop. I gotta return this ship-in-a-bottle anyway. It's the ORR Fourth Anniversary Special Edition and for some reason it keeps filling with smoke.

Maybe I can exchange it for this tee shirt there I've had my eye on that says:

they just score liquor endorsement deals.
Yo ho ho and a bottle of brand name rum!"
