Philip Kaplan is an American author who resides in England. His latest book is titled 'Battleship', an introspective look at the warships that ruled the seas well into the 2Oth century.

Pretty kewl Spike. :cool: Maybe I'll see ya' at the gift shop. I gotta return this ship-in-a-bottle anyway. It's the ORR Fourth Anniversary Special Edition and for some reason it keeps filling with smoke. ;)

Maybe I can exchange it for this tee shirt there I've had my eye on that says:

"Old pirates don't die,
they just score liquor endorsement deals.
Yo ho ho and a bottle of brand name rum!"


I can get you to sign that. While I'm at it, maybe you can you get Ann Richards' autograph for me? :D

Thannk you maryals, and there's a fair chance that he may already have it. It was released in early May of this year, it just took awhile for Philip to send me my complimentary copy.
