Confessions - 9/11 Mastermind

WASHINGTON - Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, confessed to that attack and a string of others during a military hearing at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, according to a transcript released Wednesday by the Pentagon.

On all the usual news outlets.

Is there anyone out there who actually believes this story?

Gonzales has been at the top of the news cycles lately, without much indication that is going away.

Ah, yes. Torture. It is very effective.

I am sorry to have grown so cynical with this government, but this is a joke.

I'm very surprised he didn't confess to assassinating John Kennedy too!

After reading the article my first thought was, of course, torture.

Second thought was, of course, Mohammed positioning himself to be the ultimate martyr.

I too have grown incredibly cynical, Linnea. It seems the only
"truth" is the "truth" being force fed to the masses. Who knows what in the heck is going on anymore.

I'm guessing it took that long because he was confessing to everything under the sun. Testimony to the effectiveness of waterboarding!

Well, I guess that means that that Saudi guy, whose Daddy is friends with GWB's Daddy, what's his name...right, Osama! Guess he had nothing to do with 9/11. Good thing we didn't catch the wrong guy.

I'm betting that there are 'things' far more sinister than waterboarding that will not only make someone confess...it will make them believe their own confession!

This is more than just about torturing any enemy. You know, if you are going to do this right, you MUST baptize every single human being upon this planet if you want to find out what is really inside each and every one of their heads. In a truly civilized society, you can't wait until it's too late. Of course, how many would say anything just for one more breath of air to do so? Obviously, you can't get at the truth through torture .. but it's a good place to start if you just want to get to know someone intimately - ha. Confess .. dunk ... confess .... dunk dunk. Hey, I bet you if we keep looking, we're bound to find someone we could get to confess to all of our sins - ha. Keep looking people, he has got to be around here somewhere dang it .. FIND HIM and get him to confess .. and then HANG HIM ! ha .. only on earth !

HA good line, when I heard of this and this long list of "confessions" I thought along the same lines wondering, Did he also confess to the Lindbergh baby.
