John's brief speech to ponder about getting fantastic things done were great! That was so FYI to know the fact that John piloting Friendship 7 actually guided the maneuverable Mercury capsule saving the mission and his life. He was one of 10 famous Americans who received two ticker tape parades in New York City! As so deserving in John's honor they both were!
Crossing my fingers now hoping this embeds ok..........

Re: Astronaut, U.S. Senator, WW II & Korean War fighter pilot John Glenn's passing.
I remember the Freedom 7 launch. One of my brothers was really into NASA and the space program and we used to watch the launches when we could on TV. He used tow rite to NASA and get some really cool printed materials on all their projects - usually they were pre-punched multipage documents you could put into a binder, but they had a lot of information. The 60s were and exciting time to witness all this stuff. Glenn was a hero and will be missed - one of a kind!!!
There you go man, keep as cool as you can. Face piles and piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave. And keep on thinking free. (Moody Blues)
