Dang it son! The unemployed liberal dandy could stomp out flamin' footballs with those size 18's!

Riddick, In reference to your eye opening link up there. Just wait till the temps drop deeper this Winter to the similar temps the Green Bay Packers are used to playing in. All the seats may become very cold cheap seats! :cold: :biglol:

 Before the 2018 season arrives the NFL stadiums may apply vinyl people decals on the seat backs also with hinged, "low" profile, flip up heads to prevent the empty seats on camera. 8)

MK II :coolhat:

It's just an idea, Riddick. :D

NFL Clubs To Be Fined If Players Kneel During Anthem

Post by Riddick » 05-23-2018 02:59 PM

"It was unfortunate that on-field protests created a false perception among many that thousands of NFL players were unpatriotic," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in a statement accompanying Wednesday's new policy.

"This is not and was never the case. This season, all league and team personnel shall stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem."

Players who do not stand for the Star-Spangled Banner can stay in the locker room until it has been performed.

The NFL also vowed to "impose appropriate discipline on league personnel who do not stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem".

Players said the protests were against police brutality of African Americans.

NFL players were previously required to be on the field for the anthem, but there was no firm directive to stand during the song.

The policy includes the provision that clubs can develop their own rules - so long as they abide by the league's directive - to handle players who do not wish to stand.

It does not state how much clubs will be fined should their athletes protest on the field, but gives them the option to impose penalties on any player who breaks the new rules.

I don't know about this Riddick. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept of "protesting police violence" by refusing to stand during the national anthem. To me, this would be similar to having a difficult time with your boss, going home and punching your dog. Where is the relationship between police violence and showing respect for the country or the flag?

As it is, I'm sorry, but professional athletes are probably among the most entitled classes in society and I get that this varies significantly between sports and even within a given sport by what position one p0lays if its a team sport, or how popular a given sport is as many ties professional athletes get commercial endorsements. So the bottom line is that these guys make a TON of money.

If you don't like what you're doing, don't work for that company.........

There you go, bringing logic and rationality into the discussion again, eh kbot? Clearly, your lily white supremacist cultural conditioning and mindset won't allow you to face the fact it's far past time for all Americans of Anglo Saxon ancestry to concede the country is not theirs, and return to Europe if there's space OR not!

Well, if it's not pro football but the NFL that's unbearable, there's an easy enough fix. Escape both oppression by fascist authorities and the racist establishment here in the US AND the burden big money brings at the same time: Join the CFL!

But that's the coward's way out. And we know Colin & Co. ain't no cowards. When he and the others take a knee on the field while the National Anthem plays, it's their way of saying they're mad as hell, and they won't take it anymore.

Yet they will accept their paychecks. That's called taking the cake & eating it too.

The need to try and make sense out of the senseless, is like watching the "tail chasing the dog", forever going nowhere .

These guys are "useful idiots", no doubt paid richly to destroy their own, "nest" and it is working, people are losing interest in the Political Drama of it all. Football, and other "crunching" violent, competitive sport watching has always served a very very important purpose , such as keeping the human 'blood lust" (we all have it to some degree) somewhat contained. If eliminated, it will just be driven to the streets, homes ,schools, etc. Who or what ever that is directing the "show" knows Exactly what they are doing, they know all about the human psyche and can easily manipulate. Humans have no idea how they work! A hint, never react to your 1st thought, it's Wrong...........Of course if you have a fist or a bus coming down at you rule #1, Goes out the window, no time for 2nd thought validation, or rejection. Do you realize most humans never get to the 2nd thought? They will stick with the pure emotional 1st thought.?

Hardly Anglo Saxon, Riddick - got a lot of French-Canadian/ French, Portuguese, Polish and Native American in here besides the English and Irish....

Besides, and I'm going to go there....... how many black athletes don't live in the inner cities, urban areas of many of the large NFL cities? Seems as soon as they can, they move out.............

And then there's this, just posted a few moments ago..........

Protests during the playing of the national anthem prior to NFL games, by and large, had waned by the end of last season.

But with the league adopting a new policy last week, some players think their peers might be more inclined to continue their demonstrations or find other avenues to do so, just to defy the new rules.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/n ... 652115002/

So, we've moved on beyond what the initial was and on to "defying the rules......".

OK, nice........

Splitting hairs isn't gonna change the fact you're of primarily caucasian persuasion. And all white people are racist!

Pack your bags. Europe awaits.

We're all racists Riddick. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or dishonest.

I'm assuming you have your ticket?
