Hollywood's Ironic Position

Post by kbot » 10-11-2017 06:14 AM

Been thinking about this for a while now. ]

Hollywood purposely advertises itself (in so many ways) as the arbiter and (as '43 used to say) the "deciderer-in-chief" of morality. They shove down our throats at every possible occurrence, be it the daily shows, movies, talk shows, "news" shows, etc, what morality should look like, from their worldview.

So, after seeing this story, it got me thinking about how Hollywood has fallen so precipitously..........

Harvey Weinstein's Fall From Grace: A Timeline of the Disgraced Producer's Crash and Burn

Harvey Weinstein's tarnished reputation may never recover, but many argue it's what he deserves now that whispers of alleged sexual misconduct have finally become screams.

A scandal involving the famed Hollywood producer has dominated the entertainment news cycle ever since The New York Times published an investigation into three decades' worth of harassment and assault allegations by multiple women, including Ashley Judd. In the immediate aftermath, Weinstein issued an apology, announced his plans to sue The Times for an estimated $50 million and was subsequently terminated from The Weinstein Company.

What followed was yet another bombshell exposé from Ronan Farrow and The New Yorker, in which three women claimed Weinstein raped them and dozens more recalled witness or having knowledge of his unwanted sexual advances. Weinstein "unequivocally denied" the allegations in a statement released by his rep.

The Miramax co-founder's famous peers have spoken out against his character and condemned his actions, with A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie offering their own anecdotes of being "expected" to keep the alleged abuse a secret.

So what else is there to know about Weinstein's sudden descent from powerful Hollywood playmaker to scorned executive with an uncertain future ahead? E! News has plotted a timeline of the events that led to Weinstein's possibly career-ending crash and burn, which still appears far from over.

http://www.eonline.com/news/886177/harv ... h-and-burn

Whether we're talking sex scandals ranging from Fatty Arbuckle to Bill Cosby, or Hollywood's embrace of violence - producing movies that glorify violence and raking-in billions over the decades while publicly admonishing people over gun violence, or pushing social agendas such as abortion and physician assisted suicide (both products of eugenics racist groups as well as Nazi programs) and supporting Democrat politicians who promote these social programs, you have to wonder what the heck it is with Hollywood's double-faced persona........

Hollywood has always been a "Propaganda Machine" no matter how much "lipstick" you put on it, from day one. The industry, has always been Marxist/Communist prone, and Jewish. Joe McCarthy was a mad man, but, his actions had a bases in fact. There where quite a few Nazi collaborators with-in the "Hollywood Crowd" as well as the "Scions of industry" of which funded "Hollywood" to get Their message out, turning it into a vast "War Machine". The John Waynes of the day, made War entertaining, as well as the "Patriotic" thing to do. Manipulation of the masses, has always been Soo easy to do with so many, if not ignorant of history, but can Not apply it to current events.

None of this is new information, Propaganda and manipulation of the masses, has been going on since time began. And what better way to do it, than make it glamorous ,rich and inviting and so very real, that people make gods and goddesses out of them? They make millions READING SOMEONE ELSE'S WORDS, pretty good for just knowing how to read!
Other wise May be having the IQ OF A GNAT.

I don't really care whether the people in Hollywood are Jewish or not. Many of my favorite actors/ actresses, directors and producers are Jewish.

In fact, I don't care about their political beliefs so much either. Heck, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Burl Ives went through a living hell as musicians because politicians got all worked-up about their politics.

What bothers me about Hollywood is the utter unabashed, unfiltered, unashamed hypocrisy that just oozes from every pore of their being. These celebrities will lecture us on us being evil for driving a car or turning up the thermostat in sub-zero weather while they fly charter or sail on private yachts. We get lectured abut gun violence while they produce and star in films glorifying violence and take the profits. They tell us what horrible selfish people we are because they feel, we don't give enough and they shelter behind their walled communities with armed security.

Gets kinda old......

You can pick and choose what ever you like. But in order to Understand and Get as close to some sort reality fact check, which is really hard to do, you must have the ingredients of the recipe for it to make it come out. But, perhaps you make a great omelet with-out eggs. It is ALL part of the puzzle , with or with-out your permission.

It’s Time To Drain The Hollywood Cesspool

Post by Riddick » 10-13-2017 01:47 AM

Edited/excerpted from an article by Bill Donahue at cnsnews.com:

Revelations about Harvey Weinstein's predatory behavior should inspire others in Hollywood to come forward. We have known for decades that Hollywood is infested with sexually abusing men in senior positions, but there has been a reluctance to come forward. Weinstein has provided an opening that must be seized.

The task of draining Hollywood's cesspool should begin by addressing the sexual abuse of minors. Those who work in the entertainment industry have a moral responsibility to go public with their stories.

Alison Arngrim, who played Nellie Oleson on “Little House On the Prairie,” said she "literally heard that they [children] were 'passed around.' The word was that they were given drugs and being used for sex. It was awful—these were kids, they weren't 18 yet."

BizParentz Foundation, a non-profit entity dedicated to working with parents and children engaged in the entertainment industry, has conducted workshops such as "Predators and Pedophiles" that expose the nature of the problem. Anne Henry, a co-founder of BizParentz Foundation, said a year ago that "Hollywood is currently shielding about 100 active abusers."

“Lord of the Rings” star Elijah Wood said of Hollywood that there are "a lot of vipers in this industry … There is a darkness in the underbelly." He added that it is "all organized." Which means that many must know what has been going on.

Corey Feldman said that when he was 14 he was "surrounded" by child molesters who acted like "vultures." He does not mince words. "I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was, and is, and always will be, pedophilia." Feldman says he would "love to name names," but is afraid of being sued. That is understandable, but there is too much at stake to keep silent any more.

He needs to buck up. Feldman can begin by naming the "Hollywood mogul" whom he says is responsible for the death of his friend, Corey Haim. Haim suffered more than most Hollywood victims. He was reportedly raped on a movie set when he was just 11; he died of drug addiction at the age of 38.

Who is this monster responsible for Haim's death? If Feldman knows who he is, others surely know as well. They need to come forward without delay. The time has come to drain Hollywood's cesspool.

BUT, BUT , BUT............These Hollywood , "Predators and Pedophiles" have money, and lots of it. They are so very much needed to help fund the Democratic Party and its Minions, like ISIS, BLM, ANTIFA, Planned Parenthood, Hitlery , Obamz, Nancy, Chuck and thousands of Etcs!

I guess Soro's is just going to dig deeper into his "Deep Pockets" to fill this terrible void!!

While I certainly don't condone it, it seems that this may rival the acts of the bad apples in organized religion. I was going to say "The Catholic Church", but we now know that it is NOT ONLY the Catholics (although they may have the lion's share of abuse......).

Will Hollywood come clean and do an introspective movie/ documentary?????? I doubt it, but given their propensity to spew violent films which studies have shown only increase violence, it might not be a bad start............

And again, this is nothing new. Hollywood KNEW about this and did nothing......

Women in Hollywood were preyed upon long before Harvey Weinstein

In my opinion, Weinstein just checked himself into, therapy to take some "Heat" off him and some R and R. No one gets "changed" without some honest participation, a life long commitment. Most fail, because they can't see their behavior as wrong. It is just that others are just too,"judge mental", No right from wrong, no conscience.

He just strikes me as an ugly bully, who has lot's of Power.

'Sex addict' therapy unlikely to help Harvey Weinstein: experts

Fallen Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein has reportedly checked in to a US rehabilitation center that treats male sex addicts, but experts say such therapy is unlikely to help.

English comic actor Russell Brand, golfer Tiger Woods, rocker Ozzy Osbourne and actor Michael Douglas are among the high-powered celebrities who have proclaimed they were battling sex addiction -- after their philandering was revealed.

While psychologists typically refrain from diagnosing someone from afar, some say Weinstein -- who is accused of sexually assaulting a string of actresses over the years -- fits the profile of a sexual predator, not an addict.

Harvey Slimestein: Fugitive From Justice?

The question is why AZ? This report says he considered Europe rehab but changed his mind; still how bad would being on another continent be if not only does the heat NOT die down, it turns UP, and US officials request he appear in court to answer questions regarding any number of serious criminal and civil charges.

[How BAD Is It? You KNOW it's bad when Roman Polanski and Bill Cosby are still members while Weinstein gets his ass kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences]

IMHO if not doing hard time in jail and/or broken by civil judgements, scale wise it's not the best sort of punishment yet not all bad for US justice, and not at all bad for females AND the country in general, IF this loathsome predator got the hell out AND stays the fock out.

And, it's not only sex. Violence is peddled by Hollywood, raking-in MASSIVE profits for film companies, and actors alike.
What is truly amazing is that, while profiting handsomely from their productions, they criticize US for being such horrible people.......

From the University of Pennsylvania (hardly a lightweight institution)

Snippet:

Watching violence encourages aggressive behavior

Many studies report that watching violence in movies and/or TV tends to make children more aggressive. For example, preschool-aged children who watched Batman and Superman cartoons were reported in one study to be more physically-active and aggressive than children who watched Mister Rogers’ Neighbor- hood or other non-violent programs.

Three kinds of programs encourage aggressive
behavior more than others:

And........ coincident with a rise in violent crime is a rise in violent "entertainment". Think that there may be a correlation??????

Have movies become more violent over the years?

They certainly have. A 2013 report from the American Academy of Pediatrics found that violence in films has more than doubled since 1950, and gun violence in PG-13-rated films has more than tripled since 1985. The Harvard School of Public Health warned that "ratings creep" has allowed more violent and sexually explicit content into films. Even the standards for movie trailers has become more lenient, letting studios market R-rated films to PG-13 audiences.

If you all are expecting "Justice" here.......well you are just on the wrong planet......still. As a rule, changes if any at all, will more than likely be more "Subtle" . The great Harvey may be getting cash poor. The" Dems "and "Stars" have been living pretty high on his "donations". Now they have to find another "Sugar Daddy", to fill the void. Harvey can take solace with his good friends the Clintons, they have a Lot in common!

If you will note, Arrogant Hollywood has been chewing it's own leg off for quite some time, releasing one" Bomb "after another and remake of the remake of the remake, is just getting old! Even the "deluded" have an idea of what's entertaining.
