One of summer's freshest treats is being recalled in eight states including in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are reporting 60 people have become sick with 31 being hospitalized in the cut melon salmonella outbreak.
The suspected products were sold in stores including Walgreen's and Walmart. They are all linked to a facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I'm tuned to this SW IN radio station now for Coast to Coast AM's great guest host Jimmy Church and Dr. Robert M. Schoch talking about Gobekli Tepe and the Sphinx in Egypt! Tune in!
On topic again: Coast to Coast AM's host George Noory reporting his crypto-news told me where a major salmonella outbreak originated over four years ago in cantaloupes grown just 4.5 miles North of our small Indiana town!
But days before I'd heard the radio news from the USDA inspectors that irrigation of melon fields was involved. I quickly remembered transporting on my veneer log trailer, a few years before that news flash, all the aluminum ground laid pipes from Illinois to Indiana to a local melon farm! So I thought, "Oh no!" Meaning I knew the sad health news making farm's location before George reported it!
