The End Is --- Most Assuredly --- Near...

Post by joequinn » 05-27-2010 03:22 PM

We have all known for some time that America is a nation of morons. Now, however, word comes out that the British are rapidly sinking to our level...

The British national schools program Sing Up recently commissioned a survey of British 18-to-24-year-old students. The survey found almost one-third of respondents did not know that the Romans built Hadrian's Wall in the north of England! One quarter of respondents believed that the Battle of Trafalgar was fought during the English Civil Wars of the seventeenth century: actually, the battle was fought in 1805 during the Napoleonic Wars. Almost one-half of respondents did not know that Lord Nelson won the battle for the British (in spite of the fact that Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square has been one of London's most famous tourist attractions for over a century and a half!), and one in six even believed that Oliver Cromwell did the job, almost a century and half after his death! And more than one-third were clueless that Charles Darwin was English: one in seven believed that he was American, and another one in ten believed that he was Scottish.

I need not continue, and you do not need a crystal ball to forecast the future of this scenario. That England, the home of Gibbon, Macaulay and Toynbee, should sink to THIS! The end is --- most assuredly --- near... :( :( :(

Perhaps the youth of today are thoroughly disgusted with the state of the world, and have no interest in the past which has brought us to this point.

We are on a threshold of a new era of revolution and change. Uranus entering Aries. This is a multi-generational event. Uranus was last in Aries from 1927 to 1935.

That period brought brutally repressive regimes in China, Russia and Germany and set the stage for World War.

Over the next few years, we will see if anything of the past has allowed for a more positive direction for change.

Joe in the UK most (about 80% IIRC) kids go to the national schools. They end at age 16 and unlike US schools, these kids pass a test in a variety of subject and they are gone, most either to work or to voc ed training. The required curriculum is "iffy" and quasi ambiguous:

The only Brits that are highly schooled in their own history and literature, as fantastic as it is, are the kids that go to public (private) schools.

Kind of like here, although here in the U.S. public schools (in larger districts) do offer the highly capable and motivated the opportunity of A.P. classes and honors level learning.

Well, it could be argued that ignorant narcissistic idiots are much better suited to life in the un-private fully integrated, bio mechanically "enhanced" post human NWO. The Morlock technician class needs an inexhaustible Eloi feeder class - a feeder class which will consume without thought, breed without hesitation, and die without a fight.

Stupid works, smart refuses to work - smart had to go.

Historical perspective tends to give rise to romantic aspirations - the Harrowing of Hell and such. The new world has no time for that kind of inefficiency. Romance is dead - it was killed and replaced, in an act of regicide, by modern economic technique (imho).

I think Mark Twain said it best:
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I'm horrified to learn that Mark Twain was a plagiarist :D

What's the problem? The British people simply need to assimilate to the new conditions of their society! :D
