Birds That Sing Complex Songs Give Clue to Origins of Human Syntax

"Parrots, hummingbirds and songbirds – which are able to learn complex, repetitive songs – have provided scientists with a unique insight into the origins of syntax, the rules that govern human speech."

Well, it looks like William has postulated a connection that research is starting to find. In most of his books, William makes reference to the "Langauge of the Birds" which was , as he suggests was the first human langauge.

Very interesting.

There is also the poem by the Sufi Mystic, Rumi which says:

"O heart, from where has come this heavy throbbing?
O bird, speak now the language of the birds
For I know your secrets"

And St. Francis of Assisi preached a sermon to the birds.

Ok you've baited me with twitter, what's all this about in William Henry's book?

Is Tara a person or a bird or place or THING?
Don't you all on this board get me in trouble with him.
