I don't have anything against George Noory personally, and he's done some good shows in my opinion. But the shows he does are night and day compared to Art. I listen to Art's shows expecting a deep understanding of the topic, as Art has a way of asking all the questions I would want asked. George's shows are a more lighthearted version, which can border on silliness. Either way, the show can still be fun to listen to.

Your point is well taken. Perhaps it's a dedication vs. entertainment thing.

George Noory shortly mentioned / questioned about the european space-program - in fact its about to be re-considered atm, the discussions about the european constitution stopped future projects ... not much happens/ is decided afaik atm except the space station and Galileo and some other satellites. Private companies doing space-exploration or something similar almost don't exist, at least i never heard from them.

I agree. Space Ship One was an endeavor to launch manned space missions into sub orbit. The actual move into other planetary systems is still controlled by governmental agencies .
