Right, Shirley. She does not believe in magic, yet she witnesses traces of the fragments of cosmic being and does not see the magic. How do we define magic. Creation with intention, maybe? ;)

Well if all of these things can be explained scientifically why aren't they doing it.

How does the guest know death is 'not existing?' She accepts it on faith.

She keeps saying we, she should speak for herself......there are scientists who do believe in these things but cannot explain.....yes Linn she does not see the magic in things.

Consciousness. Cannot be emulated in the lab. Therefore we know nothing about it. This guest is but a child...

So she is only a writer. Does she write scientist's articles for them, or what? She has no educational background in anything but perhaps English, from what I could find. I am confused as to what she does. Are we only listening to her uneducated opinions? What science background does she have? Here I am, confused again.:D :D

Think I might be changing my mind about this guest, I would like to know what she believes in if anything, very close minded.

Heh. Art is engaging her all around on this issue.

The arrogance of science. With the techniques science has to examine 'reality' - she makes the mistake of thinking truth is found. Truth relative to what?

I noticed she described herself as agnostic, not atheist. I think the fact that all cultures having similar deity stories is something definitive.

Tell me about it, this doesn't sound like the Art I know, come on Art why don't you challenge her.

It is sad, that Jennifer Ouelette has only one dimension, one pathway to 'truth'. Do not think she is even close.

Did you guys go look at her website? "Cocktail Party Physics". I am NOT impressed at all. She is only an opinionated writer as far as I'm concerned, trying to make me believe she knows what she's talking about. I don't like her, her arrogance is making me nauseous.:(
