that would necessarily be the case, i think. as in the case of the bentwaters incident, some of the parts that aren't released to the public might include security protocols for other countries (like the americans at bentwaters).

and justin, i'm sure that you're right. which question, the one about uk's area 51? believe it or not, my wife's on the home phone and will be until it dies or her weirdo vampire friend (just joking, as i'm still awake, kind-of) passes out. it's even money which happens first.

how odd. did art just dis' us after giving us a shout out (or so i've read)?
don't go to 'chat rooms?'
do you think that he'd consider us a chat room? ah, well.
Evening Pirates! teresius, I'm certain Art was not refering to us at all when he said that about "chat" rooms. If he felt that way about the FF, he wouldn't still be a member with us and post with us when he needs to communicate something important.:) Art loves us, just like we love him.:D

He's referring probably to the problems he had with AOL years ago with imposters, unmoderated chats, etc, is what I'd imagine..

FF is very well maintained :)

And Hola Patty, nice to meet you also..

Justin

does anybody here buy that alien civilizations that were intellectually evolved enough to travel here from distant systems, after surviving, as a species, long enough to achieve these feats without wiping themselves out, said species would necessarily be friendly or indifferent, at worst?

Good evening, Pirates! Guess I missed a lot tonight. Hubby took me to NYC for the evening. The whole dinner and show date. Even missed lunar eclipse. And of course, I'm chagrined that I would miss such an interesting guest. :(

I'm not even sure I buy the premise that they are an evolved being from "another" world. Sometimes I feel more comfortable believing they are in another dimension of time, and may only have evolved from us, in the future.

Oh, I didn't know it was different. Don't they have an overseas line that is toll free? He used to, long ago, might have changed. Darn. :(
