I've always regarded them as those on the other side just messing with us here ~ like how you can mess with anyone in a dream ~ try it, mess with someone in REM sleep and whisper stuff to them and they will experience a dream where they will swear they are hearing ghosts from beyond in another dimension than they are in.I have experienced little shadow(?) people
Yah, 'Becca - Ol' Spike has been on shore leave since last October. Miss him, and wonder what he's doing nights these days.

One of these days in my travels I'm going to drop in and visit the Old BB-35...maybe take him to lunch...

thats funny.........i "invited" my mom into our home the day my son was born (three months ago)......she was sitting in the room while he was born, i saw her for about a total of 10 seconds. she has been passed away since 83'........but she was the sort of person who would come and visit, as she was famously into this sort of thing (the paranormal) in life, and i was just brought up as it is just a common, everyday thing......
i didnt tell my wife about the invite, as i didnt want to give her the creeps.....it was more a protection thing, and reaching out to my mom, who i loved dearly, to come be with us to watch her grandson grow. thing is, my wife keeps telling me that our son is tracking things with his eyes that she cant see, and reacting to it.
she, without knowing about my invite, is convinced, he is seeing her father, or my mother........both passed.
anyhow.....babies.......ghosts.......what a night tonight!
